Buying 14500 batteries locally?

Isn't there somewhere that sells the 14500 rechargeable batteries locally? Like a Radio Shack or something? Seems odd that you can "only" mailorder them. any help?

Not that I'm aware of if you do find some make sure they are protected. It really doesn't take long to have them delivered all my orders have went out same or next day and if you did find them somewhere like Radio Shack you'd probably pay 2 - 3 times the price.

i believe radio shack sells them, but they are like $15 to $20 apiece

R shack doesn't sell the right ones. Mine are 900 mah and the ones at the shack are 2400mah. I have tried batteries plus, R shack, and a couple of watch/lighting specialty stores. Never found a 14500 at a brick/mortar in Kansas City. :-(
