I have been using cotton balls for making my wicks for use in my Lemo 2 rta, but as much as everyone seems to be using those cotton sheets now for making wicks, I am thinking that I would like to try that too.

I guess I really don't need fancy Japanese cotton, but I am asking as to where locally they sell cotton in those sheets.

I could order from the internet, but just buying a small package of sheets would be just too small an order, and the shipping might cost as much as the cotton does.

Any large national stores that sells these sheets locally?

Thanks, :)

Thanks Robert ...

I found this on Amazon ... It's "Makeup Facial Soft Cut Cotton Unbleached" made by a company called 'MUJI'

$6.33 + free shipping

Does this look like the stuff that everyone is using?

I have looked in the 3 closest Wally worlds to me and all they have are the quilted looking pads.

Oh if their Quilted then that's not going to be a thing we can use as a wick---might better order some regular ko gen do........

I have been thinking and seems as though a beauty salon or supply should have pads that

are unbleached and in a 2 inch square or there abouts---and not quilted--I have never

checked.....just a possibility..........

Sally Beauty Supply does not carry them. Or at least did not when I checked several months ago.

You can get a 500' box of Cellucotton Rayon at Sally's for just over 10 bucks. Wicks better.
But what would I do with my 43 ft of Salon Coil Cotton which wicks great? Better for me than the KGD and such squares.Been using this stuff for 10 months and only used 2 maybe 2 feet at most.

You could put it on the shelf like my 1 foot square stack of cotton pads . . .

Cotton does wick fine, but when I switched to the Rayon, it improved flavor and reduced maintenance re-wicks by less than half. There is a learning curve on thickness and tail thinning, but I'll never go back (yes, I have probably 425 feet left, and most that I used was given away.

Thanks but I think I will stick with my cotton.
On the pads I had a big bundle (80?) of them on order from Amazon I think it was and found the Salon Coil Cotton while waiting on them. When the pads came in I mad out like I had ordered them for my wife to use for cosmetic purposes and gained a point or two. I like the Salon Coil Cotton better.

And I do not need more flavor. I mix weak at 4-5% flavor max. And likes it :)
got a velocity mini and had to mix at 3% for it special....
