Hi

i live in the uk so maybe a bit more limited on what i can buy and everythings more expensive here but anyway i smoke around 8 cigs a day, hell of lot more on a W/E and i want to cut down/quit so i bought my first e cig a disposable one (for a trial) and it blew me away i loved it ended up only smoking one cig, and vaping the rest of the day - was awesome felt a lot better lol but as it was disposable only lasted 2 days and my other cartridge didnt do anything the red led just flashed on and off it must of been the battery i dont know any way it cost me £7 ($11.20) i ended up buying 2 to make sure still the same so now i want to buy the kit, spare attys, cartridges e liquid the lot.

The only one ive come across that looks a good site a good product is the totally wicked tornado tank e-nic kit (Tornado Tank E-NIC Kit)

It is £60 ($96) and want to know if this is the one i should get and maybe in the future get the 510 for work

i hope you can all help and get back to me asap as i am currently smoking at the moment :-(

Hello & welcome Scotchydog :)

I'm also in the UK & we do actually have a fantastic choice of e-cig's & sellers to buy from :) here is a list of some of the good ones -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES - Recommended & new suppliers (e-cig/juice sellers)

I've heard mixed reviews of the the Tornado (ego) tank system, so think you may be better of going for a Riva 510 -

I highly recommend the Riva! I got mine about 2 weeks ago and I love it. I previously used my moms extra joye 510. It's a world of difference, but if you only smoke 8 a day it would probably do you just fine.

I personally decided not to go with a tank system after all the mixed reviews on them. Maybe I will try it later. I went with the basics for my first real PV.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

There is the link to their UK site :) They are have a USA site that has a 20% discount..although not sure how that would translate to uk currency and stuff. With my kit I just ordered some juice and a drip tip; very affordable and I love my riva.

I've never purchased from TW but a lot of people seem to like them. I also don't know the running price for tank type start up kits. Looking at Liberty Flights again they have ego-T starter kits for $55-60 USD. It seems to have the same things the TW one has.

I can also recommend the RIVA that Chrissie posted from Jason - use discount code ECF10 for a 10% discount :) the tornado is a rebranded genuine eGo but as you pointed out at £60 it's stupidly expensive in my honest opinion - if you really want the tank style Jason also does that with the riva but it comes with smaller batteries so if that's what i wanted i would get the 1100 kit a couple tank attys and 10 tanks and you have the best of both worlds :)

Edit: Forgot to say welcome to ECF :)

Low resistance use thinner wire for the heating coil making the coil hotter quicker and the vapour warmer and providing a looser draw/less draw to get more vapour because of the thinner coil they tend to last less time than a standard resistance but lots of vapers like them more because they get the taste heat and th (throat hit) that they crave :)

Go to Liberty-Flights.co.uk and look at the Riva 510

And you could always buy one Tornado e-nic tank atomizer and tanks at TW if you really want to try tanks (should fit right on Riva)

Re 510 for work - sure but be aware they have very short charge so i recommend a charging cable for work. I also only recommend 510 manual batteries. And they work very nicely with Boge 3 ohm cartomizers.

And NOTE - 510 cannot use a Tornado/Ego/Riva charging cable (too many mA and will damage the slim 510). Also, slim 510 should not use the hotter LR (low resistance, low ohms) attachments (like atomizers and cartomizers below 2.5 ohms). But the fat battery models can use LR items like the Boge 2 ohm cartomizers.

For both (as long as you get manual batteries on any small 510 so the threaded end is sealed) - you can use a drip tip on the atomizer to test juices, and most people prefer cartomizers for everyday vaping of their favorite thinner juices. For Boge cartos I use juices that are PG w/ 20% or less VG.

Welcome to ECF.

I know some on here have left some good recommendations but I just wanted to put my penny in the pot.

You said you have used disposable ones and got on great with them, I assume they looked like analogues? Well, another place to look is on JacVapour.com, he is a UK supplier of KR808D-1 kits, they use cartomizers and I'll be honest even my mum and her brother are getting on great with them , the 808's aren't everyones cup of tea but I love mine for it's simplicity, I call it my 'plug and play little friend', I have gone from about 15 analogues a day to nil with mine and I probably vape more than I used to smoke.

Anyway, his kits start at less than £20 and maybe worth a look.

I second dormouse's advice 100%.

For work, you may be better off using a Riva-style fat-batt setup which specifically doesn't look much like a cigarette. It looks much more like you're applying a skinny flashlight to your lips. A device which looks too much like a cigarette from which you're extracting a vapor which looks like smoke can mislead people around you into thinking you're actually smoking a cigarette.

What is the best liquid to get from vape escape?

In terms of flavour that's a difficult one to answer some love certain tastes that others hate so that one is really your call .. in terms of nic strength probably 18mg is a good start if you feel thats not enough to get rid of the cravings you can up to 24 if its too much take it down to 12 - in terms of which selections to make again that choice is yours i've not tried the flavourart although some have reported to love it - while you're still trying things out it might be wise to get a pick n mix pack with flavours that you think you might like and then order bigger bottles of the ones that you actually like Jason is a good guy and stuff is usually at your door within a couple days :)
