Buying off of ebay...BEWARE!

Tell that to all the folks who had their accounts suspended.. (Me included) One of the CoOp hosts was taking payments for Sigelei Z-Maxes. he had well over $2000.00 frozen for over 2 months..
Yes--be very careful filing a complaint over anything that is e-cig related with either Ebay or Paypal. Ebay owns Paypal so they are really one in the same. They will freeze your account, this happened to a friend of mine over a complaint. They wouldn't even consider anything but freezing the account because it was e-cig related.
I think that some of these sellers know this, so that is why they think they can get away with selling something 'broken' or not as described. You are the one who will ultimately encounter problems when you complain.

Just spoke with ebay, glad to have read your post Technonut beforehand, and as she was reviewing the item she asked me what is this for? I hesitated because I didn't know what to say and the representative offered "it is a battery for a taser"?
I said actually alot of things will fit on this hand held battery unit. As we got off the phone she told me "Happy Tasing" (unsure of spelling).
I have to wait 3 days for the seller to officially decide not to refund my money.

Glad to have helped... It can be a nightmare.... I have to use my GF's account for everything now.
I would never buy any thing off ebay with out using paypal for the most part i have had good experience with ebay but when I didn't paypal got my refund 
Hey... how long ago was that? Because there's ecig ads all over Ebay.. so I'm wondering if that is still a big deal now?
Like I said.. They are constantly pulling listings.. The mech mod I was checking on which was pulled (The seller told me when I asked why the listing vanished before the end-date) was only a few weeks ago..
OP, did you look at the pictures in the auction? They show all the damage that you are talking about.

I guess I never clicked to make the pic bigger. I was going off the description that is was a month old. My provari is a month old and shows no signs of wear even though I carry it everywhere with me.
If I don't get my money back and I have to keep it, I definitely will not try to sell a used Provari that is a month and a day old!
I think I am just a very trusting person and didn't realize the marks in the pic went to the metal. I agree that I should have been more careful in looking closely at the picture offered.

Oh and I bought it off my phone, sometimes the pics don't get as big as the computer I'm on now...my bad.
I understand, I also would have thought that nobody could mistreat a Provari like that in a months time.
i didnt read all the comments, but all you have to do is file a "item is not as described" case and you will get your money back and you will have to send the provari back. ebay makes it really easy (almost too easy) for people to return items no matter what the seller says.
There are allot of dishonest sellers on eBay these days its getting harder to weed them out from the good ones I have had to use the eBay guarantee more than ever lately! Especially with fellow vapers.
I honestly dont understand people....how can you knowingly sell someone a piece of junk????? Im a firm believer in Karma....what goes around comes around. One day, they will get theirs...trust in that. When I was younger, I did a lot of mean BS...during my time in the service, I changed my whole attitude and outlook on life. I started doing any kind gesture I could do to try and make up for the wrong I did while younger. I did have a lot of bad stuff happen to me as well, to me, it was Karma. Now, my life is better than I ever hoped it could be, and I still try to help people out any way I can. My point is Karma will get them, sorry for rambling lol....

i have bought a Provari from ebay, but also had an auction I was bidding on end early a few weeks ago ( like Technonut).
Just wanted to give an update here. eBay made it absolutely hassle free to return this. I didn't have to fill out any forms, I just clicked a button to escalate the case to eBay and they sent me a prepaid shipping label the next day for returning it. I will receive my money back as soon as the tracking number states it has been delivered.
Great Customer Service eBay! Needless to say, lesson learned. Just ordered a satin silver blem fromProvape.
