Need help choosing buzz pro and tank. A little background. Started with mall junk, moves to v4l, got sick on charging tinkering to make things work. Moved up to igo. Loved it at first, now it is burning some of my juice. I only use tasty Vaper sweet juices.

I have decided I'm going to get a buzz pro and vaporescence tank. Here is where I need help.

1) I would like the tank to be as flush as possible with the buzz as possible. So which connection would be best?

2) I only use 3 types of juices. How easy is it to change flavors in the tanks? I usually change every morning and use the same Til the next day.

3) what size tank should I get? I would like the tank diameter to be as close as possible to buzz.

I have never used atty vvpv or tank before any other advise would be great.

I don't have a Buzz Pro yet, as I'm waiting for the chrome top and bottom caps to come in before I order mine, but if you look at this thread I started - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/notcigs/215132-help-me-pick-buzz.html - it may answer some of your questions. There are several pictures in that thread that show a tank on top of the Buzz.

I was lucky enough to get in on the "Not so fortunate list" yesterday for one JohnBoy's tanks, so I won't be getting a Vaporecence tank now ...

I have decided I'm going to get a buzz pro and vaporescence tank.

Other than some dual coils that my buzz breathed new live into because of the higher voltage, this is what I use the most. I would say you've made a good choice, but then again I am biased ;)

1) I would like the tank to be as flush as possible with the buzz as possible. So which connection would be best?

I included a picture of the liquinator 5.5 ml phat tank with the brass 510 connection. I has a boge lr carto that I sloted to use with the tank. You don't have to screw it all the way flush, but this one happened to be as such. The pre slotted cartos should be exactly the same.

2) I only use 3 types of juices. How easy is it to change flavors in the tanks? I usually change every morning and use the same Til the next day.

Tanks don't adapt to changing flavors well. You will need to clean the tank and replace the carto every time you change flavors. I think this would quickly become a PITA if you did this daily. It's doable, but time consuming.

3) what size tank should I get? I would like the tank diameter to be as close as possible to buzz.

The one pictured here is the 5.5ml phat tank. They have a 3ml that would be smaller. I don't really have trouble with it. It comes down to personal preference.

I use a MAP Tank with a Fusion in it and without an adapter it would fit flush against the Buzz Pro but it took some altering with a Dremmel to get it to that stage. People are having great success with the liquinator from Vaporessence and it doesn't require all the altering to get it to work.
I believe they do last longer in a tank because on every puff they are full of juice if you keep juice in the tank. I finally changed my fusion after a month but didn't need to. Just got bored I guess but Fusions have been known to last longer than that out of the tank. But as I statewd I do believ e they last longer in a tank.

The 5mil tank will be fatter then your buzz around. The 3 mil tank will be almost the exact size around if not the exact size around. I had a 510 top cap on my Buzz Pro, but wanted to try the Fusion Cartomozers in my tank, so I got an 801 top cap. The 801 caps came with the added benefit of being much more low profile (ie: it does not stick up as far as the 510) and is really sleek and clean looking! Of course to keep it this way you will need to purchase 801 fusions from iKenVape and slot themselves to use with liquinator OR get an adapter and use the 510 boges that you get with the liquinator (of course then you no longer have that sleek low profile look, so you might as well go with 510 top cap)

Finally the extra benefit of the fusions with the liquinator tanks is the fusions prevent the tank from sliding down making the liquinator almost perfect! But keep an eye out for the tank that notcigs is making!

And here is a picture. The black BP is my husbands with the 510 connection and a 510 boge in the tank. The purple is mine with the 810 connection, you can see the difference in the photo.

And I forgot to answer your juice question. I mainly vape three juices. Waffles, OMG and WTF. I have a second tank for the waffles as it is really good, but a little sweet to vape all day, so every now and again when I get a craving I pull of my main tank and vape on that one. For my other two flavors, when my tank in empty and I decide to switch I simply pour the new juice in there. The juices don't taste horrible together so it is OK. It takes a little bit for the one juice to lose it's flavor in the carto and the other to take over. I have done this with the waffles as well with no problem. The only reason I keep it in a second tank I never know when the waffles urge is going to hit and if the main tank is full... it's just easier that way.

Finally here is my disclaimer about switching juices. This method only works if you like both juices you are using and maybe they need to compliment eachother as well. Last night I tried a new juice in my tank, Nutty Ky and it took about 10 - 15 minutes to take over the flavor in my tank and about 3 minutes for me to decide I did not like it.... I still can't get the awful flavor out of there. I will most likely just throw away the carto. So I guess there are flavors that linger and linger.

5c what is with the screw in that tank? Is it a MAP tank?

Yes it is a MAP tank. It's a filler port I put in it and although it's tiny I haven't lost it yet. I've filled that tank probably 40 times and it works great. It's got a large head on it and it has a machined thread. I didn't like taking my tank apart to fill it every time. Besides it fits together so tight it would be a pain. That tank is pretty thick. I did shorten the screw though. it just makes it through the tank wall. I cut the threads first with a self tapping screw then replaced it with that one.

The liquinator seems to be the top dog in the race. I guess it's pretty easy to set up. The only down side I heard about was the slipping apart but a rubber band would stop all that if it was a problem.

I use two liquinators on my Buzz Pros...Works for me!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a source for the o-rings around the carto????

LD I get a package of assorted o-rings from the parts store and it has every size from tiny to huge.

I love my liquinator. I had one that was so loose it had to be returned. Customer service was very good (as long as you phone and don't email) They replaced it with one that was is so tight I sometimes have to have the hubby help me pull the carto down to refill it (thats the white one, but it has my I only vape it ocassionally liquid in it, so it doesn't get refilled often) the other two we have which were the first to, don't slide at all (because of the fusions) and have never accidently slid up. They are basically the perfect tightness.

The jonboy tanks look nice. My only issue with them is it seems next to impossible to know what colors are available, when he is making them etc. I sent a PM a while back requesting a color, he told me he didn't have any tanks available at the moment and to keep checking the forum thread to see when he would have some and what colors are available.

But there are pages and pages of posts each day and unless you have all day to sit there reading the thread you really can't order one. I got interested again yesterday, couldn't find any recent info. I just checked back again today and there are 41 new pages since the last post I read yesterday. How are you supposed to know when he is taking orders and what colors are available to order one. I really do want one, but I guess not enough to read through 41 pages! I think he has also changed the price since I first read about them, but finding a color or price int hat thread is like finding a needle in a hay stack. I'll just wait for notcigs to make their tank.
