I'm flying to Toronto in November. I know it's not legal to sell PVs there, I have no idea if it's illegal to use them.

I'll be there for a week. I need some way to get nicotine, haha. I would prefer the Buzz Pro, but I don't want them to take it at the airport...

Has anyone else flown internationally with a PV, or even the Buzz Pro?

Transited through Alberta last year. Got stopped in security screen and they looked at my Big Chuck and other vaping stuff. Was only using carry on so everything was out in the open. Had to explain about PVs but they had no problem. They did take a pair of manicure scissors that were 2 mm too long for canada - coincidentally I have travelled with the same scissors throughout the states for the last 10 years (25 to 30 weeks/yr.) and never had the problem. GRRRHHH!!!

As far as Canadian Customs, I can't say but have never had my luggage searched by them either.

I previously have traveled with my Chuck a ton (I just ordered my buzz pro!) Probably 20 different trips in the last year alone. My suggestion to everyone is to keep your pv completely assembled and put it in an outside pouch of your carry on. These larger pvs can look quite ominous to a security screener. Wires, batteries, buttons, and cartomizers (that look like antennas) can be a bit concerning. I used to take my pv apart and try and "hide" it down in the bowels of my carry on bag. This generally ended with me getting the full TSA search, which trust me is not fun. I was even told a couple different times that my chuck was the reason I was getting searched. So I started putting my pv in the outside pouch of my backpack. Now a security screener can grab my pv without ripping my whole bag apart. I can also demonstrate to them how it works without having to spend 2 minutes putting everything together. They will generally swab it and put the swab into a machine to test for explosive residue. Also make sure to put your efluids in a little ziplock bag and you'll be good to go.

I can't comment on weather or not you will be able to bring your pv into Canada, but I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to.

Good luck!

Never a problem in checked bags but I put all PV stuff with my meters and tools and EVERYTHING in that bag looks sinister so you might have a problem if the only “device” in the checked bag is a PV.
Almost lost my carry on buzz a year ago in Dubai, talked/gifted them out of taken it but it was close. Carryon in Mexico, Singapore, Nigeria and Moscow never batted an eye, maybe didn’t see it in the X-ray, always take it apart, cart’s and juice in different bags.
Oh Ya, Canada is the biggest PITA for my bags and tools, they always take something in but haven’t been back there since vaping.

Your issue will be with TSA and the Canadian equivalent (CATSA). I haven't travelled around with a pv myself but from what I've read, there really isn't much of an issue so long as you follow the rules with respect to your e juice/fluids.

As for Canada and nic, my interpretation is it's a grey area. Illegal to sell, but legal to hold. Even then, I seriously doubt you'd lose your nic juice at customs unless you're sending up red flags for whatever reason.

I took my BuzzPro and my Infinity with me to Jamaica a few months ago. I took my batteries out of them, I had my batteries, my juices and my pvs in my checked bag. I did carry with me my ego w/ a tank for the car ride and airport. I had no problems at all. I did notice on my return trip my luggage was opened and my small plastic supply box (plastic pencil box, 2 tiers) that held extra cartos, juice, fill syringe etc. was looked at but nothing was missing. I didn't want to carry my good pvs through security just in case, I wouldn't have cried if they confiscated my ego, but they didn't even blink an eye at it.

Blerg, ok. I think I'll take a Buzz Pro. Planning on having some snus for the jet ride... I don't want to mess around with trying to vape up there..
NO NO, don't and trying to vape in the plane, it can be done with unflavored juice but if they ban PV's from the carry on I wan't have anything to vape in the AP (use the bars, ask first and hide a little) or ride to/from the AP. It's tough "up there" and they have NO tolerance for smokeing or the mile high club up there.

I use snus, get the Swedish Snus, best there is, keeps me sane days, one lasts a few hours, start the flight with two then one every few hours. None of the American snus have near the kick of the European brands. Lost more here on ECF on snus and where to order, i found Swedish here in Houston, SLC should have it, LDS like that kind of thing don't they?

I was an avid snus user before I switched to PVs. My brand was General White Portion. Used about 12 to 14 of those a day. Yeah, they sell some General stuff here, so I'll be set :)

Edit: LOL, yes, the LDS love tobacco, I'm sure, haha.
