BP has been working fine, I took off a tank and forgot to hold the top cap which came completely unscrewed before I noticed. I put it on, took off the tank and put on an atty to test some new juice. It won't fire, 3 different attys and the tank I had on, light still stays red.

Please tell me it's something simple and I can fix it myself.

edit it does turn blue until I attach anything to it

Sounds like you broke the positive wire that goes to the atty connector. Loosen the top screw a couple turns and carefully take the top off and see if there's a wire attached to it.
If it is attached carefully make sure it's tight. Then put your cap back on. Re-tighten the top screw and try it. Be careful not to break the wire off the PCB.

Thanks 5card the wire was still attached and retightening the screws didn't work. There was a crimp in the wire by the cap though and straightening it out has got it working again, hopefully it stays working, thanks very much.

Adam I can't even see where the solder is I wouldn't be brave enough to do that I'd have to send it in. I do wish the cap wasn't so easy to remove though.

Loctite blue 242. That way it will be removable without doing anything crazy, but tight enough that it won't come off easily (it'll take a conscious effort).

As 5cs said, just a dab -- you don't have to fully coat the threads. After screwing the cap back in, wipe off any excess, give it a minute, and you should be fine.
