troubleshooting check list

batteries charged ?? ( use a voltmeter if you have one , they should read 4.2 volts each )
Take off the atty /carto first
Do you have a RED LED light ?
DO you have a Blue Led light when the button is pushed.
DO you have a Blue led with the ATTY/CARTO ON the unit ?
Do you have BOTH red and Blue led lights ?
Do you get a blue led with the atty/carto ON but no vapor ?

other things you can try, if you mave a multimeter
1: What is the voltage output on each battery
2: while holding the button on your BP what voltage is it showing on the 801 cap?
3: What resistance is the carto measuring?

If the BP is working properly, you should have a red light with batteries installed. When you push the button, the light should go blue. If you are not getting a blue light, I believe that is a short (could be a bad carto, or the wire that connects the electronics to the bottomside of your 801 cap may be loose.)

Verm, let us know how it goes. It could be that the o ring under the top cap screw is squished and letting the cartos short out. It could also be that your adapter is pushing the center pin on them in, so that they aren't making contact on your BP, altho I would think you'd still get the blue light but no vapor if that were the case.

When you take the top cap off, clean it real good.

Blue until the atty goes on is a happy open circuit.

Red once the atty is on means there is Connector Continuity, just that the regulator doesn't like what it sees.

Unlikely, but any chance the atties are lr and the pro voltage is set too high? (not sure what light you get for that)

Alternately, if the atties are ok, pro center screw might be too high for those atties. Try unscrewing one a little, see if it starts working..
