First, thanks for getting that 801 cap out to me so quick BuzzKill,it has taken my BP to the next level.801's never taste right to me with connectors because the air flow isn't the same as on a native mod. This thing really makes all my IKV's and Cisco's perform great, and it's so easy to dial in the sweet spot for each juice with the dial.I would only change one thing on the BP if I could.I would make the highest voltage on the BP 6.5 volts instead of the 5.57 volts that mine tops out at.What limits the voltage from going higher? Is there a stop on the wheel that can be removed,or is the regulator maxed at that voltage?Only reason I ask is I have 10 or so HV 801's in the 5 ohm range but the BP just can't get to their sweet spot with 5.5 volts. Is there any way to get more voltage out of it...LOL :D

No way to raise that voltage Sorry the MFG of the controller sets the max voltage to 5.5 volts !! I was curious if I could but never looked into it . High voltage attys are designed for 7.4 volts or so, the regulator needs some overhead voltage to function properly.

i'm changing my username to "banned"

why would they put "moved on"????????????????? at least "banned" makes it sound like I did something bada$$ or something.

I really should move out of the 510 arena & try different connections. I have tried the 901 & it's a "cool" as in colder vape. I guess i'm used to 510 & that's why I am not so fond of it.

I do have 1 mod with an 801 connection, but I use a 510 adapter............

What is it that you like specifically about an 801 connection?

My preference is to use a Fusion in my Liquinator and it has an 801 connector - I've just switched my top cap over from an 808 to an 801 to quit having to use an adapter with it.

It has a better appearance and less height without the adapter; the draw is better; and it sits straight and tight. My old 808 cap was showing a lot of wear and tear around the threads and actually had one slot bigger than the other from having a piece of it chipped out. It caused all of my cartos/adapters to sit loose and wonky and the airflow was too much.

It was time for that 808 cap to "move on" :)

I agree with everything Pokey says with the exception of I never had an 808. I had a 510 top cap and it was only on there for the few days I owned my buzz pro, but as I was using fusions, the 801 made more sense so I switched! It looks much better with the tank closer to the BP, just a cleaner tighter look!
