I ordered some malty and casablanca from bwb about a week ago. I really love how complex and subtle the malty is but I just cant decide on the casablanca. Sometimes I think it could be my all day vape hands down and other times it is kind of disgusting.
I guess Ill start with my equipment before I ask my question(s). Im using a Silver Bullet 3.7v, 18650, yeti 810 atomizer 2.3ohms, dripping.

The issue I'm having with the casablanca is the flavor is very inconsistent for me. Sometimes I vape it and its an amazing smooth turkish tobacco with cocoa undertones. I cant imagine there is a better vape in the world. Other times its an overpoweringly strong rotten tobacco with no hint of any other flavors at all. The change in flavor I get is very inconsistent... sometimes it is right after redripping, sometimes its after a couple draws then goes away. Its very strange to me, I dont have this problem with any other liquid. Which makes this one really funny to me because I want to vape it more then any of my other liquids but fear it more then the others as well since any given pull Im not sure what I'm going to get. I have tried a couple different atomizers, tried shaking the bottle like crazy, tried fresh vs slightly drained batteries. Nothing really seems to change the inconsistent tastes.
Ill also say the TH seems to vary greatly draw to draw as well

Is this something common with this juice or is it just me?
Could I somehow be using my equipment wrong ?

Any feedback would be great! Happy vaping!

I'm in the "amazing smooth Turkish tobacco with cocoa undertones" camp and don't know your specific hardware, but 3.7V at 2.3 ohms doesn't sound too hot. Sounds like you are bordering on the watts where some flavors are vaporizing and some not to change the flavor. Does it taste better when your atty is running a little hotter? I'd try a lower ohm atomizer to see if that is more consistent.

Casablanca is so worth it.!!

Is the bad taste some kind of spicy flavor? I'm vaping some Casablanca right now, and while I can definitely detect both the Turkish tobacco and the cocoa, they seem a little overpowered by a spicy, cedar-like flavor. Reminds me of BMV's Robacco, but more vapeable for me. I'm hoping that quality will diminish with time and steeping, but then again, it could be one of the things people love about this juice.

If the juice is new (less than one week), yes that spicy/nicotine taste dissipates. Casablanca gets richer and richer even months later and definitely smoother. The cocoa comes out at a little less than a week and gets stronger and the Turkish tobacco flavor increases in the aftertaste. At the beginning the tobacco genre in particular has this tongue fizzy spiciness. Cedar like is a great description.

Only non tobacco I've had this happen is in his Root Beer. There it was a huge plus it made it more authentic being fizzy, but still love it in the smoother steeped stage.

Thanks for the info! I'll look forward to the post-steep taste-test...

IMHO, Cassa needs to steep at least 3 -4 weeks. I didn't like it at first either. I put it away and forgot about it. After a month, I decided to give it another try and WOW! I vaped it exclusively for 5 days straight. I now let all my BWB juices steep. They all get amazingly better. The only one that has steeped over a month and still doesn't have me hooked is Malty Toffee. I prefer plain Malty.

*Edit - Oh and definitely try a 2.0 atty :vapor:

I got some cisco 1.5 attys yesterday. Vaped casablanca most of the day today. Flavor has been completely consistent but I dont know that i care for it. With the extra heat im getting a very strong turkish tobacco thats a bit peppery and the cocoa flavor is almost completely muted. I think Ill throw it in my chest and let it steep for a couple more weeks.
