I followed up a link to the Zenesis, and boy was I in for a surprise  I never knew that Justin Beiber fever was running amok in the vapor world :nah: Common guys/gals, its just a PV!!

This infatuation reminds me so much of cabbage doll fever when my daughter was younger - much younger - that I have to wonder what all the fuss is about. Isn't the reason to vape just to get off of cigarettes (or cigars, pipes...). My God , it's turning into a circus, what with serial numbers,...etc.

Sorry for the rant, but suddenly I felt that things were getting out of hand. If I have offended those that like this sort of thing, my apologies: I didn't mean to offend, I only wanted to highlight the situation as I see it .

vape long and prosper :)

Lol! That's nothing. Wait till you want a 'Lava Tank'... You have to really, really want one because.... there are links and rules and forums you need to join. Then you need to get on a list, then there are 'sale nights' then you have to send an email on the 'sale night' but only after 'the sale' starts. Too early and you are banned. Then in the email you need to list the tank you want as no. 1, but you need to give a no. 2 & 3 too, incase no. 1 (or no. 2) on your list is already sold. First come first serve. So before 'sale night' you need to know what tanks will be sold and the name of the color, so that you can make your list in advance.
Then on 'sale night' have your email ready, your finger on your mouse and the curser hovering on the 'Send' button. But don't be hasty or greedy. Only click 'send' when 'the sale' is declared open! Only send your request once, or you will be banned.
Oh and you can only get on the list, if you don't already have a tank. But hurry, the list may be closed since only a certain number of people can get on the list lol.

One final thing, only 1 tank per household!

Or something like that. Whatever... I prefer my cheap Stardust that I can buy anytime.

I think its more his dislike for the fanboy(girl)ism and cult like following certain PV's garner.

A PV is more of a tool to do a job, sure much like a makita is better than a jobmate but there isn't the love affair attached to them as people have for cabbage patch kids, beiber and what he had seen for the zen and if he checked out a reo link or gg..etc etc.

Atleast that is what I got from the post :)

I like cmacs car analogy because I love certain cars over other cars ( similar to tool brands ) and have fond memories from owning them, but I don't get caught up in the hype.

My first pv, a 510 reminds me of the Pinto I had.. they both did the job to some degree, it was my first and no matter how much work I put into it to improve it.. they still performed pretty much the same and left me wanting something better :D

Hey watch what you say about Makita Tools. I think I own every Makita tool ever made!

Dude I was and am pro Makita ;) I just haven't joined any fanclubs or started a webpage/blog all about them and looked for a certain serial # so I could add it to my Makita Drill collection :p
