Ok guys this is my first thread on here but i'm a long time lurker. I have gone through the cigalikes, have done the KGO w/ boge cartos and dripping with 306 attys. Switched to a Vamo V5 and a ProTank and have been loving it for the past 2 months, but I think I want to get into the RBAs and Mechs. I have been looking at the hcigar Sentinal M16 as a Mech, and I have no idea for the Atty. I would love a kayfun but everywhere is out of stock and a little pricy for me right now anyways. I would like to keep TOTAL purchase under $100.00 as christmas with a wife and 2 kids has pretty well wiped me out. Also I have 2 Efest 18650 2000 MAH batts as well as 2 efest 800 MAH 18350s. These should be fine in the mech as well right? Not really looking to sub ohm so amp limits should be fine. Please any help at all would be great!

Since you already have batteries and charger the cost shouldn't be excessive. Staying away from sub-ohm without knowing the amp limits is just good sense, I've found about a 2.5 ohm built very nice with less burnt taste. You do have a meter to check your builds before firing? (very important safety step) They are available for $10-$20.

You do realize you can do an RBA without a mechanical right? Mechanicals are mainly for A. subohm builds, or 2. works of art
disadvantages of mechs -
as the battery discharges your vape will get weaker and weaker
there is no low battery cutoff so you can possible discharge your battery too low (bad for battery) which will lead to needing to buy new batteries
no safety cutoff if for some reason your coil gets damaged and shorts out
mechs were originally developed because most first ecigs ran at 3.3 volts not the current 3.7 volts and were small mah capacity 80-180 mah and the flashlight mods offered a larger battery capacity for longer vaping time - this is no longer an issue with the advent of affordable, regulated APVs
so skip the mech, get a tobeco kayfun lite+ clone off of ebay and enjoy an excellent vape on your vamo

Thanks for the responses, I do realize that I can do rebuildables on the Vamo, and that the Vamo offers both safety protection as well as vv / vw that the mech would not. However, I have kgos that i run protank minis at 1.8 ohms and the vape is fantastic, so its not like i HAVE to go sub ohm / huge amp draw to get a great vape. I want to do RBA's for 1 reason, I like to tinker with stuff. I like the idea of being able to build my perfect setup. I want a Mech because, the vamo is great for what it is, but its cheap, and the press fittings are loose on mine and the head comes off all the time and I have had to re solder it twice. A mech is SIMPLE. Eventually I would probably want to buy a Kick to add in the safety features that the mech is missing, but keep the cool factor of the Mech.
OK so I finally decided after browsing all day. I ordered the sentinel m16 clone and an igo w from 101vapes and an ehpro kfl+ clone and some kanthal from eciggity. Now the dreaded waiting for vapemail!

Just got mine today and I'm liking it. Ordered it from 101vape for $25. They say it's an hcigar, but I don't know if it is or isn't. But the threads are great, and I have no dislikes about it. As another has mentioned, I use my sentinel clone with a igo-w. I love it. Dual coil at 1.4 ohms and it's great. I had an mvp2 and... Well let's say I have three backup devices now. I suppose I could just say that the mvp2 is a backup phone charger.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with the sentinel, as I haven't and I had high expectations for it. I snapped a pic and sent it to a friend and his response was sweet, whered you get that? And that he wanted to look for one now.

Ordered on christmas day, received December thirtieth. Which isn't bad at all considering that they've said they're really backed up on orders due to christmas-time. They're one of my go to places. If I can get something from there I will. Plus their website says that they're working 7 days a week to catch up.
But the only drip tips they have in stock are like the one on that igo-w. I got a red and green, didn't even notice that I ordered christmas colors until I got them lol.

Lol nice. I ordered a ss drip tip as well as a couple shortstop fuses from my vapor store to go with the m16 and igow. I can't stand waiting! I'm so pumped!
