Please help this nincompoop. I have 30 ml of a 12 mg/l solution which I want to concentrate to 24 mg/l using 100 mg/l. What volume of 100 mg/l do I need to add to the 12 mg/l solution to get a 24 mg/l solution? How does one calculate this?
30*12 = 360 (total mg of nic in solution 1)
4.74*100 = 474 (total mg of nic in solution 2)
360+474=834 (total mg of nic)
834/34.74 = 24.0069 (strength of final product)
The ejuice Me Up calculator has a handy screen for that. It's the 'nic combine' screen found under the tools menu. You'd need to guess at the amount of the 100mg to get started, then adjust up or down to hone in on the answer.
