Ok here is the deal.
I recently was received and order of Nic solution in error.
I ordered 250 ml of 100 mg per ml nic.
I received 1000 ml of 24% (24 mg per ml)
The company is letting me keep this and is now shipping my original order.

my problem is:
I obviously can not achieve my desired 24% end strength using this solution as the flavors will dilute it.

So.... its a little confusing.

Should I mix it will 100mg strength nic like this:

100 ml of (100% nic) with 100 ml of (24% nic) to = 124% / 2, or 62% by volume

Im sure that my recipes will be able to calculate based on 62% nic strength. Ill have to check though.

My question is that math correct? I dont want to waste the stuff. It seems to simple to be correct...

with the amount of pg in the flavors, i dont think its really going to drop all that much. besides you can make your next level down of nic with this.
24 mg nic with 20% flavor is 8ml. nic base and 2 ml flavor for 10ml total. its still 24mg...

oh i think i see your issue now. your base is probably 100 %pg. so you end result will be 100% pg. if you want to mix 50/50 with vg then yeah it will drop.

100 mg/ml nic is 10% nic, and 24 mg/ml nic is 2.4% nic.

Yes, 100 ml of each combined would give you 6.2% nic, or 62 mg/ml nic.

What I would do is figure out what nic level I wanted in my FINAL juice, then do the math.
Use one of the free juice calculators, it makes it easy.

For something more like a real recipe:
To get 100ml of 36 mg/l of 60/40 PG/VG with 8% Peach flavoring, do this:


The above example is assuming your nic concentrate is mixed with 100% PG.

100 ml of (100% nic) with 100 ml of (24% nic) to = 124% / 2, or 62% by volume

Also, please be VERY careful, you are saying % but I suspect you really mean mg/l, they are two VERY different things.
For example 100% is equal to 1,000 mg/l, and 24% nic is equal to 240 mg/l.
Make the wrong mistake here and you could wind up very ill......

Yes you will end up with 62 mg flavorless nic. You can then adjust to your desired ratio.
As long as you don't need more than 50% VG in the final juice it will work out.

with most flavors that are suspended in PG you count them as 100% PG.

I have dozens of recipes stored based on Ejuice me up. so it is much easier to mix the nic base to something that will still calculate to this highest recipe that contains 24 mg per ml. 62mg per ml will work for my recipes just fine so its all good.

Thanks for the input, I dont like to jump into assumptions before I run it by my peers. No matter how simple the math!

I guess alternatively I could get some concentrates from LourAnn... I got get 18-20 % strength using those.
I just typically use TFA stuff that is suspended in PG.

Your calculations are correct.

if you mix 100ml of 24mg + 100ml 0f 100mg it will = 200ml of 62mg
