Calculating mix strengty

First off, I am not mixing for flavors, as the mixes I am using are different strengths of the same flavor.
That said, I am basically checking my logic on computing the strength.
Here is what I am using.
18mg menthol
10mg menthol
Based on the assumption that the liquids are in fact what they say they are.
18 drops 18mg
+
18 drops 10mg
=
36 drops 14mg?
18 + 10 = 28 / 2= 14mg?

That works for 50/50 mixes.

"mg" means mg/ml, so if we were to make a bad assumption that 18 drops = 1ml then you could say:
1ml * 18mg/ml = 18mg
1ml * 10mg/ml = 10mg
(18mg+10mg)/(1ml+1ml)=14mg/ml

Because if you used 9 drops of 18mg and 18 drops of 10mg, your math method gums up, but the one I showed keeps working:
(again using a bad assumption that 18 drops = 1ml)
0.5ml * 18mg/ml = 9mg
1ml * 10mg/ml = 10mg
(9mg+10mg)/(0.5ml+1ml)=12.6mg/ml

So, that was a long winded way to say, your OP is correct for the blend you're trying...

I was not by any means assuming 18 drops = 1 ml. Not being able to measure to the ML unless using full bottles, my assumption is that drop sizes are close to the same size. As long as I keep the number of drops either the same or a multiple of one another, I should be able to calculate to the half mg of strength between the two variables.
Right?

Lucky, many calculators will let you enter in two differing mg levels, and calculate the finished strength. The bad thing about using drops to measure is that different viscosity juices drip differently. Graduated cylinders and syringes are really cheap.

I will have to check in to that, if and when my current method does not seem to work for me. Fortunately, I am happy with the e-liquid I picked up from Carolina Vapor, and since I am using 2 strengths of the same mix, I should not really run across viscosity issues, should I?
