Didn't find this via search.
I started to make a banner, you know "Been smoke free X days, saved x dollars" but how does one go about calculating how much a cartridge costs?
Obviously, that means a filled cart. I've gotten liquid from a couple of vendors, so I know the range of prices.
So, aside from hard goods, which I can easily figure out, how do you go about figuring out savings by calculating juice use?
If this has already been answered, sorry for starting an unnecessary thread, just please direct me via link.
Thanks all!

PS- for those that saw my other thread about slipping and smoking- thanks to the speedy arrival of my PT and higher nic juices on Saturday, I am back to no more than an analog or two a day. Now to conquer that "first thing in the morning" craving.

I just compare the money I have spent on ecig and look a how much I was paying for cigarettes. Of course I have to figure in how much I have on hand and how long that would last. I look at the amount of eliquid I use a day. I use 5 ml a day and it cost around 15.00 for a 30 ml bottle. So it cost me around 15.00 a week for eliquid I also factor in the replacement of atomizers and batteries which is on an average l atomizer a week and l battery (usually last a lot longer) so that about 20.00 a week. So that around 140.00 a month. I smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day so that about 15.00 a day. That would be 450.00 a month so I am saving 310.00 a month. Of course I have not seen much of that money because I keep buying (and have way to much).

Yep, I think the only way is to calculate it manually.

I do two things to make it easier though, #1 keep a list of e-cig related purchases on my computer, #2 throw all my empty juice bottles into a box in my closet.

#1 is easy for me because I only do big orders every few months. I've spent $977 so 1,455 - 977 = $478 savings.

#2 is pretty easy as well(I only drip so no carts to keep track of). Every few months I just dump the box out and total up all the juice I've used. It only takes 2 minutes, I just did it right now:). 570mL / 264 days = 2.16mL per day.

Hope this helps:thumb:

Great, I have a simpler way at looking things specially since im not worry about how many Analogs I have avoided.

Here goes my sinple math.

I smoke about 5 packs a week, that is 5x6.50= 32.50 a week.
32.50x4 = 130 a month.
On top of this I would have to pay 50 dollars tobacco surcharge on my Health insurance. So the total Monthly cost is 180 A Month.

Now if I was to buy a starter pack from Cignot + 60ml of juice every month it would be less than 80 a month. Simple.
