Calf Cramps

I have been getting severe calf cramps in the wee hours of the morning. This normally happens when i vape a lot the night before. Is there any other way to prevent this from happening? I have hypertension and when i get these cramps while I'm sleeping, I wake up in a shock and I'm worried if I would blow a blood vessel or have a heart attack when i get these cramps. I am an ardent vaper. I vape till I am about to sleep. Is there another way to go about this other than to vape less?

Drink more water and also I have been told by my Dr years ago that it was low calcium. You could drink an extra glass of milk just in case. Those leg cramps are so painful. It feels like eternity before you get them worked out and then your calf still hurts in the morning. I wish you luck. I know just how painful they can be.

Definitely agree to drink more water. Also, what is the blend of your juice? High PG might be related to your muscle cramps if you're vaping a lot (when the body metabolizes PG one of the by-products is lactic acid).

If it's a problem with lactic acid stretching helps with that.

if its not vape related i know that leg cramps while you sleep is not a uncommon thing when aging normally you would use quinine to treat this. If you think this is the case try drinking a pint of tonic water before bed its main ingredient (or active since its mostly water) is quinine. This is also more common in males But IDK
Personally i think if someone gets that dehydrated that thier legs cramp it would not be confined to sleep and you would have other problems mostly the ones most people know (when you go to the bathroom)
If you really think your not dehydrated tonic water is all i can think of
I am not a doctor or anything just trying to help

i have never heard of people getting leg crams from vaping but who knows,
but i do know that people who have very active legs(lots of walking running or biking) then take a break from it for a few weeks will get alot of cramps in there legs,i used to do some hardcore mountain biking almost daily and during the winter months when i could not ride i would have alot of leg cramps and only seemed to get worst as i got older.
you might want to look at other aspects of your life besides just vaping as it is likely something else if you are staying hydrated.

Try going to a 50/50 to cut back on the PG. I know I had started getting more cramps unexpectedly after up grading my pv, suddenly I was simply vaping more and getting more. My tendency is to be dehydrated anyway so I have increased my liquid intake.
So far much better. Muscle cramp overview: http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/tc/nighttime-leg-cramps-topic-overview

Good Luck
