hey fellow calgarians! i just began vaping and it's brilliant isn't it? it does take some getting used to, not exactly like smoking but good enough and i'm sure i'll get the hang of it soon. got some great throat hits and some not so great but it would be good to get together and find out more about the different products, juice, etc. have you tried vaping in the bars yet? apparently the cat 'n fiddle is cool with them, which is good as it's only a block and a half from my place, lol. what part of the city are you in?cheers,

I am in the far n.w. Just got my 901 back up and running but have not had it out at the bars yet. I would love to get together and start meeting more Calgary users so we can be visable as a group and grow our army.
I was in C-town for stampede and wow the price of analogs is ridiculous there!!! I can see why I barely saw anyone smoking! Calgary is awesome tho, sooooo many cute girls. I wanna move there but no jobs
i live in the inner city n.w. (mount pleasant) and would be into meeting, have any suggestions as to where? by the way, my 901 took some time to break in, it seems to be rockin along pretty good now. as far as juice goes, do you find you have to drip it about every 30ish puffs or so? is that usual? lots to learn yet but i am SO glad i'm vaping instead of smoking now, especially when i don't have to go outside on a cold august day that feels like october!

yes, analogs are expensive as hell aren't they! i've been in vernon a lot this summer and find them just slightly less expensive but anyway who cares as we're vaping now, heheh. no jobs in calgary??? also, i'd rather live in b.c. myself....

i was headed down to tase of calgary this afternoon. i think i wil wear the long underwear and break out the thick jackets. If you are down in the area i will be the one vaping all day.
i will always be on the lookout for a good pub to vape in. look for ones with a live band and smoke machine i heard of some dennys owners allowing vaping and would love to get a group of us to start spreading the good word.
as for the re filling issue i have done the spring mod on a couple of carts that my g/f uses and she never seems to need a refill. i used them a bit with great results.

That taste of Calgary sounds good, I'll have to go sometime. Got a 510 last week and am enjoying it. Battery sure runs down fast though it seems. It would be sweet to try the 901 and compare.

i didnt end up going to taste of calgary because i heard it was raining so i made other plans. just as it was too late to change them the clouds parted and the sun came out.

yep, the hop & brew sounds cool. also, the cat 'n fiddle is okay with vaping. it's fairly central but still in the n.w. she uses one of my 901's. but i think im going to get her a kit of her own. any ideas?
vapin, you use the dse901 don't you? as i recall it looks different than mine. the carts on mine narrow down like a cigarello and i'm thinking yours isn't like that. where did you get yours from? private message me if you don't want to say in the forum. oh and hey thanks for the good juice, that really got me through the holiday! how was your holiday in hawaii???

Just came across this thread. I would like to keep it going. I'm not in Calgary per se, but Red Deer's only an hour away. I swear, I am the only vaper between Calgary and Edmonton.

Well it sounds like there is some interest. Does any one know of a vapor friendly place? There was talk about the Cat & Fiddle earlier on in this thread. Any other ideas.
