You probably are stressing the pod. 3mg/ml is a very low nicotine level for someone just quitting smoking. It would probably be ok in a sub-ohm system, where you get more nicotine per hit because it's direct to lung. Most people when they quit use 18-24mg/ml at first. You've been off the cigarettes for the most part for a while and weren't that heavy of a smoker. You might consider trying 12mg/ml for a while, then tapering down to 6 then 3. It would probably help get you off those last few cigarettes that you have to have as well. The other option is switching to a sub-ohm system. It all depends on whether you prefer mouth to lung of the pod or direct lung of the tank. You should look into getting another system anyway and have the caliburn as a backup. Every vaper should have backups to their favorite mod in case of loss or breakdown.

ETA: I don't think the PG/VG ratio is a big enough factor that you should change it if you have issues with the PG.

Well before that I used to buy it premade from heartland. But I have no idea if they added sweeter or anything else. I'm convinced it was TFA peppermint, but there's something missing in mine that makes it not 100% the same. But it could be they just used more flavor.

But the thing is, this is a small coil. I know my protank coils get gunked up and out of commission before my larger coil heads do. It's because they are small so a little bit of gunk causes problems faster than other larger coil heads, therefore, burnt taste faster and coil life is shorter. Those caliburn G coils housings are only 10mm wide. Inside where the coil/wick is is probably only 7mm at the most (protank is 5mm).
I agree with you uncle about the VG affecting the coil simply based off my experience using this thing. And yes the coils are extremely small. Just 50/50 juices suck and isn't ejuice only made in 70/30? I only find salt NICs at 50/50 and salt NICs have much less variety of flavours

Interesting. By 12mg you mean salt nic right ? Also when I take out the pod and squeeze the side of the pod air bubbles come out of the pod and then I get a couple tokes without the burnt taste. I prefer mouth to lung and by subohm do you mean a sub ohm tank system ?

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and isn't ejuice only made in 70/30?

No, but that seems to be the most popular VG% these days. From what I've been seeing on the market of the premade, vape shop stuff.

I only find salt NICs at 50/50

Yes, that seems to be what I have been seeing, too.

No, you can try 12mg/ml in nicotine base. That's not so high to be harsh. I vape 10mg/ml nicotine base in a sub-ohm tank system and am not bothered by a harsh throat hit. 12mg/ml should be much different. Yes, I mean sub-ohm tank system. Sometimes you can buy coils for a MTL device that are less than 1 ohm, but it's not really a sub-ohm system, which is a DTL system. If you prefer MTL, like your Caliburn G, look into the Kroma z.

Try this: Find the thinnest pin you can find and poke maybe 5 to 10 holes in the cotton that you see in the coil head's juice ports and see if that helps your coil heat to wick better. I had to do this to a bad batch of Subtank coils I bought ones. It worked for me. The cotton was too dense to wick even 50/50.

Hmm. I wonder if the 70/30 is a bit too much for it? Maybe it's not wicking as well as it should. Does your vape shop do custom orders where you could get some 60/40? Otherwise you could go back to 50/50. Another neat trick, albeit more expensive, is to get some 50/50 and some 70/30 and mix them.

I like a little throat hit that feels like a cigarette. Im coming from a Juul and that thing hits like a champ . So I like a small throat hit so I bought 6mg thinking it will give me a headrush and throat hit but it didn't . Definitely will be looking into that kroma z

My friend actually recommend this to me but I was afraid of destroying the coil and poking all the way through.

That's what I think the problem is because the coil is really small and the cotton is really compact. I'll do what uncle said and poke holes in the cotton see if that works

So why not go back to the juul? From what you have told us, you just want things to be as small and as simple as possible but you want a satisfying vape. So if the Juul works, stick with that. Doesn't get much smaller and simpler than that.

Idk about the states but Canada banned flavoured Juul pods. Only tabacco flavours plus way to expensive.
