Call of duty 4: modern warfare won 2009 guinness world record for most online game played in history.

i have it on PS3 and its SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you think modern warfare is sick, try the second one. online is crazy. you have a minigun to help you out, when you're sniping.

Vaping has increased my gameplay time by 10%. No more having go out side after a reall good game.
I got CODMW2 last night i only had 4 hours on it. I havn't touched the muitiplayer which is what i am most waiting for. But the single player was OMFG (I want to run up stairs and tell my brother how cool it is) cool. When you get asked twice if you want to skip a level cause it may offend you or make you emotion unstable, and it doesn't let you down then you know it's cool. That one level was so much more disturbing then any GTA game I ever played. I can't wait to finish it up and take it up online.

Nothing like mowing down innocent civilians at an airport, then turning the Washington Mall (where all the monuments are) into a warzone.

Warning though, the AI is MUCH smarter now and the game is much tougher. They come at you from all angles... watch your 6 because they sneak up on your .......

Have not tried it yet.... playin Mass Effect now. I will probably get it after I complete Mass Effect, I was GODLIKE in Modern warfare and good at World at War. Friends tell me its great though.

Beat it. Fairly disappointed. Also, I think anyone who skips the level should have SWAT show up at their house and take the game from them.

The MP is 9vs9 max and there are not dedicated servers. I am in a clan and we will not be playing or buying it.

Also they will not have any custom maps, and all new content will have to be purchased. They are treating pc gamers like console kiddies. Over 200,000 people have signed a petition to get IW to play fair with PC gamers, they ignored us. COD series is dead. cod mw2 will be hot for under a month then will be forgotten. I never buy a game without a demo released first. Another reason not to buy it.

Eagames screwed us by charging $5 a slot to rent a server and not allowing us to host custom anything. Now IW and cod is doing it. I not buying crap games any more. If you do buy it, your supporting bad business models. MW2 has no choice but to fail. And if your in a clan your a traitor.

Sign it in support of free gaming and mod support. Or we can expect monthy fees and download fees from now on. This could have been a billion dollar game, and already more money in games than the movie industry. Why they try to screw us is just plain greed.

I'll sign your little thing there but i never really expected more then i got. I almost never go after FPS shooters. Mod support would of been cool but 9v9 is good enough. I can't think of many good shooters that allow more then that anyways. And if they do there not really my type of game anyways.
IMO the online game play was the most fun i had in years since counter-strike was still fun. I love how much more balanced all the weapons felt.

Hmm... I've been looking at this game and thinking about getting it to play on my PC. Might make for a nice little game to hop into and shoot things when I'm feeling like taking out some agression on something.

No 16 vs 16 is the norm and has been, in BF2 you had 32 vs 32, same with BF1942. 9vs 9 is a bad joke,,, unless it is on consoles, which is what cod4 mw2 is for, nothing diffirent than a console game. It is amazing how many people will fall for a marketing campainge........

It's a business, Lol. I play games on the pc and 360 and i know what you are talking about...(operation flashpoint: dragon rising). I would think that the pc market is much smaller than the console market though. It only makes sense to skimp where you can on the market less profitable.

And in all honesty, I bet that most of those 200,000 gamers who swore not to purchase the game (for pc), pirated it anyway. It makes perfect sense for the developers to say "screw it" and either port console-->pc or abandon pc development all togeter when SOOOO many pc gamers steal games.

There is not a single keygen ever made that did not have trojuns in it. Everyone knows that, well real gamers do anyways, I have seen 100,000+ botnets. So there are some who have no clue, but those are not real gamers.

I played for about 8 hours last night and not one hack found. every death you get a full reply thru your killers eyes for 6 seconds leading to your death. I am 100% positive there is no aim bots, god modes, x-ray vision, or any other common hacks. Even the best top ranked players on the server were beaten fair and sqaure from time to time. At this time the people that win the games know the maps the best.

Trojuns are a worry for those that don't know how to take care of there computer.

Just like you do in politics you overshadow just about thing good about something and scream it on the top of your lungs just to prove something.
