first post on forums and instead of wading around all the previous posts just need some insight.

i bought a setup at the local tobacco shop about a week and a half ago and havent went back to smoking or even wanted a cigarette since.. (pack and a half a day for the last 12 years. go me!) the current setup i have is a vapotech battery and a clearomizer with a picture of a devil on it.. have no idea what brand that is. i spent 40 on this with a bottle of juice. now that i know this works for me, i am ready to move up a bit.

i am starting to get a burnt taste and am just generally ready to move to something a little better. i do sometimes "chain vape" when having a few beers or stressed out, so keep that in mind. (i hear some products are not good for this)

few questions

1. what type of tank/clearomizer/cartomizer setup should a noob go with that wants a clean flavor and something reliable?
2. battery.. i hear i want something variable voltage (in the 20-30 dollar range, ego style so i can still use this one when charging)
3. juices.. pg vg??? whats the difference? pros cons?
4. any accessories that are necessary or replacement parts/heads i should buy when making my first big order.

thank you for any help and feel free to add in anything you feel is necessary... please dont make this into a "chevy/ford" argument thread.. just need a little help because this stuff is a little much to wrap your head around when you are new to it all.

edit: ive heard from a few people vivi nova tank is good to start.. easy to use etc.

I'm in the uk so i couldn't suggest where to buy.

But you really cannot go wrong with this setup. Short of a mod device these batteries are the most popular. See if you can find the " safe vaping power chart" with google. That will tell you what voltage you should set your battery at depending on the ohm's of your coils. The kangers are usually 2.5 ohm's so 4.3v is about where you need to be.

I started with Blu: Horrible Batteries Not Much Vapor

Next up EgoC with the tiny clear "tank" and cone: Tastes burnt not much vapor

Lastly Kanger ProTank with Ego Twist VV: Tank spews e-liquid into the mouth no matter which head I try or how vigorously I clean the tube.

I'm not into building or tinkering with things to make them work. Maybe I wasn't meant to vape. I HATE smoke juice in the mouth. Condensation is okay but I tested how much juice by attaching a clear tube to the top of the tank. It filled quite a bit with brownish juice. I am on sites looking for different products but hesitant to try more money wasters.:unsure:

^Something is wrong with that protank. They do not spew liquid when they are working properly. I would seek a refund.

OP - look for a ego twist kit but I'd recommend 1000 mAh bundled with a protank or a Vivi Nova V3. Do get extra heads - although if you like to tinker you will want to rebuild your own soon (ebay is the best place for rebuilding supplies by far).

Having recently quit smoking myself, I have enjoyed the Freedomsmoke american spirit and Roar Poison the most. Don't be afraid to try a little menthol (I didn't smoke them but it makes a vape more satisfying to me). Try several different grades of nicotine to find your preference - I thought I needed to start with something really strong but found I could not vape often enough with those to be satisfied because I got too buzzed. I like 12mg for heavy vaping and something a bit stronger for the AM. PG gives more throat hit and VG gives more vape - it is another preference thing so try several small samples before you do your big order.

seems like a lot of that stuff is out of stock.

Just certain colors. I just tried it and got a white and green 1300mah spinner and a blue and smoke black T3s to add to the cart. Think NOW is bad? The 1st is the Chinese Labor Day or something... Next month is going to be pretty dicey I think, on having a wide variety to choose from.

Vision spinner for sure (very like the Ego twist but nicer dial, just feels and looks more elegant to me, too), and maybe Vivi Novas. I'm still waiting for the perfect, very straightforward, bug-free tank-for-dummies, because I hate fiddling. (The red spinner is really pretty - satiny metallic deep dark color, if you care about that stuff.)

Be ready, It can turn in to a collection. I started with cheap overpriced 401 cigalikes, moved up to an ego-t passhrough, heard about vv, got a kgo vv, then kept hearing about variable wattage, got a Vamo v2, started seeing stuff about how great RBA's are, so then I had to get a mech mod. Waiting on an AGA T2 and a Segelei #20 in the vapemail...
