can a dse901 atty be used with dse801 bat?

no is the short answer i'm afraid if you mean thread-wise. if you mean could the battery inside a 901 power an 801 - I think it is the same thing only lower mah.

You could rig up some jumper cables.

They can be used together but you will first have to make a thread adaptor.

they are both 3.7volt cells , just the 801 batt has a higher MaH ( runtime )
