I have a mutation x rda and for lack of a better description, it stopped working. Its on a nemesis clone. Everything appears to be fine with the mod, but my coils are not heating correctly and I'm getting a hot button. Rebuilt the coils, nothing is touching anywhere, and I'm at a loss. So, is it possible that the atomizer itself has an internal short somehow? I'm at work and freaking out about not having a vape. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to have my wife buy a new atomizer if that wont fix this issue.

If the button is getting hot you need to clean it thoroughly and be sure it's properly adjusted!

Heat in a given area is a sign of high resistance...usually caused by a bad connection..usually either loose or dirty in the case of a button.

You are correct! The firing pin scre, although it looked rather clean, after a good wipe down on the threads, it is back to working condition. When I take a lunch I'm gonna soak everything down with some degreaser and thoroughly clean all threads.

I was just panicking as I'm at work for the next 7hrs and cant leave.

10-4 man...glad I could help you find the issue.

I clean all the threads on mine with alcohol and q-tips and/or cotton swatches every other week or so and it alleviates any unexpected downtime.

Enjoy!

I usually do as well, but the past month or so I've been slacking off on this because I work in an oil change... almost impossible to keep my things clean now.
