It is times like this I am glad I own a good multimeter.

Takes less than 3 minutes to test every part on a Mechanical mod and verify a fully charged battery.

Check/verify Ohms - at base of atomizer <center contact and 510 threading>
Loosen center pin on nemesis top cap
Secure Atomizer
Snug center pin on nemesis top cap
Wipe center pin
Attach Top Cap to Nemesis tube
Wipe both ends of Battery - Verify charge if possible
Insert battery into tube
Wipe Switch pin
Snug switch into tube

If this does not fire:
1) Nemesis contacts/threads are dirty
2) Battery is Dead

Yea I know Which Multimeter should I get?

So I figured it out, both my contact pics on my Nemi and Kana were done. They just happened to go bad on same day( they were stainless not copper.) So I went to a b&M and picked up The Rig, wanted an upgrade anyway.

It's basically impossible for the contacts on the nemesis to "go bad"(except maybe melting the 510 insulator, plating could peel off, but unit would still fire), and the likelihood of both the Kana and the Nemi going bad on the same day is also very low, there has to be something else at play here.

No way it could happen.
Sorry, but you will eventually learn and in the mean time......:D........you got a new mod. :toast:

I've got an unpopular suggestion, go simple. I went on a several month mod bender. I have numerous mods, kayfuns and all the assorted gear. In the end it turned from a hobby to an annoying experience. It was just taking up way to much time. In the mail today came an MVP2, itaste VV and five EVODs. It's the second setup I had a while back after going up from egos. I couldn't be happier. Certainly there is a hit in taste but I'm still not smoking and am not getting frustrated anymore. Just simple plug and play. Just my $.02.

I just read through this whole thread and saw this  I agree with others, this is not normal!

What kind of batteries are you using? How old are they? Also, are you cleaning your contacts regularly? I saw you are only building your coils to 1.4 ohm, so you definitely shouldn't be producing enough heat to melt plastic unless there's a short somewhere... :2c:

Exactly! I too bought an MVP 2.0 and have Nautilus tanks. I am perfectly happy. No mess, no fuss...and when I want to just vape (and not bump up my nic level) I can drip. Which is not very often. I charge them every 2 or 3 days (yes, days) and go. It's so freakin easy and cheap!!! I spent $40 on my MVP and $25 bucks a tank. I also have a metric f*&k ton of aspire clearos that I use to vape new flavors or occasional juices that I can't vape all day.

So simple....so cheap. So very easy.

maybe the RIG a purpose built cloud chasing machine is not the right move...Please learn all you have to before doing the low builds i think you must be doing. I say this because you didn't even notice what the problem was and didn't even notice you had a problem until derlins were melted and the mod no longer worked...sounds like alot more serious things could have happened than the derlins melting because that is indicative of a severe issue. Tuff love man! learn dat stuffs and don't give up on vaping.
