Trying throwing those away! I hate those things! Go get a clearomizer or a vivi mini nova! I got so tired of those tanks.. Until then, grab a pair of pliers and grab it from the the wide part, on the tank. Gentle pull up.
Those things were the bane of my existence for the week it took me to toss 'em. As soon as you can, get some clearos, vivi's, cartos, carto/tanks... Anything to save yourself the frustration! In the meantime, glad you had plier success!
I hate those things too. Leaky and unpredictable. To remove the caps it depends on the type of cap. Hard plastic caps can be removed with a fingernail. There is a small ridge under the cap on two sides (the "flat" sides). Get a sturdy fingernail under one ridge and a firm grip and just pry. For the SOFT silicone caps, use a paper towel or a napkin to grip the cap and pull it off. ....Then do what others suggest and buy a Nova, DCT, or a clearo (or better all three). Good luck!
I would recommend you don't take them off at all. Go down to your local pharmacy and get a couple of 21 gauge (or thereabouts) syringes. Should cost about a dollar. Use them to fill those back up.
If you take the caps off they will leak pretty quickly and you will hate what you bought. I learned this the hard way and haven't had a leaker in months.
Also recommend you try a Kanger T2 (ego CC ) clearomizer, viv nova and or CE 4's. Hold more, taste is close, Vapor output higher and a little hotter. Much easier to fill.
