I just bought a Smoktech Xcube2. I put fresh brand new batteries in the device. I get the Smoktech logo, a number, and version number. Then it flashes red, green, then blue. But after that it will not turn on. what should i do?

5 presses of the power bar turns it on/off. You may need to upgrade the firmware... SMOK® Being with you for all great vaping time! 3 presses after that will allow you to scroll thru the modes/options.

Okay Firmware has been upgraded but still will not turn on by clicking the fire button five times

I go through the same motions every time I change the batteries. Flashing numbers. Logo, blah blan blah..and then I click the power bar 5 times. Sometimes it will ask if it is a new coil as I always have a tank on it... I just took my batteries out and did it again without a tank. I'd suggest trying it with a tank on and trying it with a tank off, see if it reads the tank.

Click the power button 3 times...the blutooth symbol wil show... Use the arrow keys to scroll to 6...the POWER icon. When it shows in the window hold down the power bar until it gives you the Option to turn it on. Use arrow keys to select ON

You dont understand. No matter what I try. Tank on or tank off nothing works. I can not turn the device on. the five clicks do not work and if it some how turns on. it wont even let me go to the menu screen for anything

It sounds like you bought a dud. I would contact the vendor for a replacement. I haven't had any problem with mine so far.

I kinda do understand, I was just having you try everything I could think of. I really don't have a clue what else it could be. Everything I try with the one in my hand works. Going to have to bump for another answer/guess.

Do you have a Vape Shop near you? Maybe you could take it to them and ask them what they think?

Just in case...you have to complete the 5 clicks rather fast.

I sometimes have the same problem with mine after changing the batteries. I have to press the firing bar at the top edge to get mine to turn on. It doesn't always work when I hold the middle of the bar. If that doesn't work, I would try going to a vape store near you and have them check it out.
