My question is, are sigelei and pioneer4you owned by the same person or parent company? I know asmodus takes care of warranty things here in the U.S. But that has nothing to do with who owns the company. Just trying to clear this up because no one believes this and I'm pretty damn sure they are owned by the same dude

I've always thought they were. If you go to their websites, P4Y, was established in 2005 and has the same exact company description as sigelei, but Sigelei was founded in 2011 according to their "about us" pages.

Neither are owned by a single person. Pioneer4you is this company-Shenzhen IPV Vaping Technology CO.,LTD.

Sigelei is this company-Shenzhen Sigelei Technology Co., Ltd.

I am actually looking for a new mod and am torn between the Sigelei 75w or the IPV D2. Not sure if the companies are related but both of these look like a lot of mod for the money

I'll put it this way, let you decide, mind you I own both an IPV 2 V1 and IPV 3 V2 Project Subohm Edition, a Sig150watt and Sig Mini 30watt, love all 4 mods, they are solid units from both companies, but...

Pioneer4you - On board charging ports, multiple reports of failure, and/or damage due to failure of their charger ports
Sigelei - I have yet to hear of any of their units with onboard charging ever failing

If they were the same parent company, I doubt the parent company would allow a quality or engineering problem like above to affect one line and not the other.
