Hey all! I recieved my spinner and stardust in the mail today. So obviously had to try them on... But I'm weirded out by the feel of it.
I'm on 3.3v, with a 1.8 ohms clearo, and I get strangely warm vapour with very little taste. At least, less taste than I'm used to. I suppose the warmth is normal, someone told me before that my ego-C was more "cold vapour" than warm, so I'm guessing I shouldn't be surprised that strawberry (zombie apocalypse) turns my stomach a bit in that heat. But I'm not getting a lot of vapour and the taste is quite faint.
Also I can hear a squeaky sound as I draw.
Why is it squeaking ? ^^
I must have done something wrong, or I just don't like the stardusts maybe.
Anyone knows if this is normal??

Hi sorry for the late reply. I think it's normal to think the vapor is warm compared to the ego-c, it's just that it feels "washed out", the flavours are "diluted". Plus: there's this weird "fabric" taste, kinda like what sucking water from a handkerchief tastes like. It's a VERY strong fabric taste.... I think that's what's upsetting my stomach. I'm positive i'm tasting the wick. Should I be tasting the wick?

Hi - All I can say is that Stardust-type clearos can be like that. They are notorious for leaking, not wicking well and frying because it's Thursday. I have a lot of them, since I use to order a couple when I bought juice to justify the shipping costs. Recently I've started using CE3 bottom coils, which I like much better.

I didn't blow it out but... It looked dry! It's my first so I could be wrong there. It did look dry though. I think I might just do as told, wash it in water, let dry and try again tomorrow. I have a kanger T2, the issue is present there too, just less pronounced, since the wick is short. I'm starting to think i just don't like clearos.

CE3 what? :D I will reserch that before I ask questions ^^ Mine are not leaking (yet) , in any position.I'm touching wood lol. ok, google, take me to the CE3!
edit: I have to say though, the kangers seem better, flavourwise. It feels less diluted for some reason. What is that lack of concentration thing, it's weird, it's not like I added water or anything...

Have you tried carto tanks? They are my favorite hands down. I only use clearos when I don't want to fill a whole tank up.

Remember that after you wash it, the first 5 or 6 vapes will probably taste dull as you vape the water out and soak up the juice, even if you let it dry over night. Also, try tilting your pv so the wicks get good and saturated with juice while you're vaping, my ce4(generic stardust) vapes a lot better when I do that.

I'm with The Ocelot, again, though I'm surely creeping her out:p.

. The Stardusts are most truly not my cup of tea. A carto-tank, or if you're set on sticking with clearos, the T3. Best of luck, OP!!

it's ok  I was so happy to try clearos, I probably expected too much. I might buy a carto, I might also try dry, I will try everything until I'm happy darnit. Confession: I wrote this thread because clearos made me want to go buy a pack of analogs. I swear. So, back to my old ego-C tips until I find something I'm satisfied with.....

Peggy,

Clearomizers, IMO, really mute the flavors of my juices, thier vapor production is just......eh, and they will eventually have a burn out taste.
In the past, my visioin clearos performed and tasted better than my Kangers. When you get a new clearo rinse it out thoroughly, pat the wicks dry and let it sit for a few hours (over night is best). Then fill them (just below air tube) and let them sit for about 5-10 minutes to "prime". for me, I get better milage out of them when I do this.

Got to agree with Ocelot on trying out the carto-tanks!!!!
I went to the carto tanks after being let down from the clearos!! I good pyrex tank and ikenvape single coil cartos with your favorite juice=vaping heaven!!!! Seriously, the ikenvape cartos MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. The vape is clean, the flaovrs are sharp and the clouds are full!!!! You will not be disappointed!!
Best of Luck and Happy Vaping.
