I was going to post a picture of my battery here in this post, but I don't see the option. I have a rather long, all silver battery with USB pass thru. Not sure what brand or model or anything. My friend has the same battery just a little bit shorter and in black which works on a pro tank 3, however mine doesn't. Also if there's a way for me to post a pic of my battery here let me know; new here.

Right above where you type your message, click on the tiny little picture of a picture. It is between the filmstrip and "unlink" buttons. 3rd from the end or left.

Sounds like you have an ego-t but without seeing it, I can't say for sure. Assuming it is an ego-T, try taking a toothpick and running it all around the outside of the center post on the top of the battery. Kind of gently nudge that center post around & up a smidge. You may also see gunk/liquid in that area. Wet a corner of a napkin with alcohol or use an alcohol wipe if you have one and smoosh it down into the area around the contact pin and clean. The toothpick might come in handy for cleaning as well. That contact pin can get stuck down by screwing on a topper too tight or gunk build up. Do other tanks/clearos/cartos work on it? Does it appear to charge fully?

Does it have any markings on it?
No, but it has the number 14 on the inside where the tank screws in.

Yes it charges thru pass thru but takes around 4hrs using that method. Its works on my T3S fine.

Clean the 510 connection on your battery. Use a q tip or piece of towel to get the gunk and excess juice off. Use a tooth pick, straightened paper clip or needle to gently lift the firing pin on the batter up just a bit. Be careful not to pop it off. When you try the tank again screw it down just snug. Don't over tighten and mash down the firing pin again.

+1
Worked perfectly! Now if I could just get a confirmation on my battery type I'd be completely satisfied

There are many companies that make the ego type battery. Unless it has a logo on it there's no way to know which one. If you mean the mah rating I believe the length should give you an idea. Check some sites that offer an Ego pass through in several sizes and grab your ruler.

Will do & report back once done.
While we're on the subject somewhat, what's a good site to buy from, my smoke shop has crazy high prices
