Can someone tell me what type of battery I have?

Relative newbie vaper here. I'm sure this has been reviewed somewhere but I cannot locate it. I am trying to discover what kind of battery I have so I can find a low cost replacement.

I purchased a starter vape kit at a festival two months ago. There was no info on the box, and when I finally hunted down the company that I bought it from, they never answered my calls to purchase new cartridges.

I found cartridges which looked similar online and ordered from esmoke.net. I ordered the Pro series and when the cartridges arrived, they were too small to fit my batteries. I called the company and they RUDELY explained that their products were exclusive to them and they would fit no other product. I ignored their rudeness and ordered their Sensation series cartridges (which was described as slightly larger) and when it arrived the cartridges fit my batteries perfectly. So much for exclusivity!

A few days ago, I carelessly overfilled one of my cartridges and ended up shorting out my longer battery. I have tried all the tricks for drying it out, but its gone. I have been analog-free for 6 weeks now, but it is difficult to maintain with only one battery. esmoke offers replacements, but the Sensation series is right at $40. Can anyone tell by looking at that page what size/type of battery I need to be searching for and where I might find a lower-cost alternative? I know there are better products out there, but right now can't afford to start with something different, and really want to stay off the analogs.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah that $150.00 "Pro" kit they sell looks just like a $40.00 kr808 D-1 kit.
Here's some MUCH better places to do business with. You can get a new reliable kit for the price of ONE of their batteries. Look here.
Welcome to MadVapes LLC or here KR808D-1 2 piece e-Cigarette or here Starter Kits or here KR808D-1 Starter Kits or here Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.
There are many more good venders out there who won't rip you off and will treat you with the respect you deserve. Good luck

I checked out the site and...sorry I've never heard of 'The Sensation'. Maybe someone else can help you on that.

To be honest..it looks like junk. Is this ecig really satisfying you?

If a replacement battery alone is $40 dollars, then you are overpaying.

I suggest going with an ecig that is more economical. Like a Joye 510, or a SLB 901. With those ecigs a replacement battery is about ten dollars or less, depending on who you order from.

I noticed on Esmoke.net that it states "The Largest U.S.A. Manufacturer" Which probably means the Sensation is made in the USA. I tend to think that all good penstyle ecigs are made in China, but I don't know...Maybe you're just a USA made kinda guy/girl.

This ecig most likely is made in China and just rebranded specifically to look like it was made in the USA.

Please don't think I am being rude. Each person has their unique needs and satifactions, and if this ecig works for you then thats good. But for me just looking at the product on the site...it doesn't look like it would last very long.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

thanks for the info! I've ordered from your first link. The starter kits in black were OOS, but I got the USB manual passthrough along with a set of 5 cartridges (which I am assuming I can refill) for less than the cost of 1 battery from my former supplier. Hopefully, this will work until I can move up to a better kit.

I curious to read about your mods - can you link me to your posts if you have described any of them?

Thanks again for the help!

There AREN'T any ecigs made in the USA. This is just another lie to make these guys look special. If it WAS made in the USA, .... by elves, ... in a hollow tree, it wouldn't be worth what they're charging.
I'm not ripping on the original poster. I'm ripping on this scammy company. I paid way too much for my first crummy ecig too. This forum was how I learned what was what and where to get it.

Thanks - I could care less, really, where my batteries are made.. like I said, I got my batteries from another vendor at a festival, and its obvious from the instruction manual that its made in China.. so I don't think this company is all too truthful with their advertising.

Good for you! Madvapes is a great company. Really good guys. They've helped me out on more than one occasion. They have a sub forum here and Hoogie76 (Mark) is pretty good at keeping up on answering posts. I've gotten quick responses through their contact page on their website too.
You're on your way! Happy vaping. :)

I think you got the same thing I got at first.
DealExtreme: $10.20 Electronic Cigarettes with Chargers and 10-Refills Set (110V~240V AC)
I bought this for my first starter kit but I paid like 60 bucks for it :( and when it didn't last me I tried to find there supplier and sadly found my starter kit for $10 from a company in china. If this is what you got you should def save up for a 510 kit. I loved that first ecig but after I used a manual 510 I'll never look at it again ^.~

<3 Sierra

P.S. The manual is in like the worst English ever!!

My order from MadVapes arrived today. I ordered a pushbutton passthrough since I spend so much time working in front of my computer, and they had some carts on clearance to fit.

AWESOME! I had no idea how satisfying a hit could be! What a difference from the product I had.. I only wish the passthrough would work from my USB battery charger, so that I could use it in the car, but I guess there's not enough juice coming from the charger since it won't work plugged into that.

They were out of stock on their batteries, but as soon as they get some I will def order from this company - they even went so far as to hand write "thank you" on the invoice - I thought I was the only person who did that anymore...

Thanks for everyone's comment here, but especially mistinthewoods for turning me on to this company! Once I'm no longer a newbie, I'll post a thank you on their board...
