I use carto tanks exclusivly. I will often fill a tank with a juice I seldom vape and Ill vape it for a few hours. Then it goes in a drawer for a month or three. When im ready for something sweet ill pull it out and vape it. Then I got to thinking. If that carto and tank was full of water it would probably get moldy after sitting there for two months, wet and dark. Why would pg or vg be any different? Is this something I should be concerned about?

The flavor doesnt change much if any for me. I can pull it out and vape away with no problems. I may need to kick the voltage up to vape off the excess juice in the carto though. Other than that its still a great vape. Thats why I ask about mold. Logic tells me mold can most certainly grow in a damp carto. Unless pg or vg prevents it somehow. I dont want to toss a perfectly good catro or juice. I dont want to vape mold either.

Considering that both pg and vg are both bacteriostatic and that nicotine itself is a poison, I doubt that anything alive could live and grow in the liquid. Having said that, I've attempted to vape on a forgotten tank before and was not pleased with the results flavor wise. I think the juice in the carto can dry out when exposed to air, so be sure to cap the cartos with either a carto condom / doughnut or whatever you come up with to cap the top.

Good points. I didn't think about nic being a poison. Or the bacteriostatic(ness?) of pg/vg. That puts my mind at ease.

A vaping product I see a need for are carto caps. When I'm traveling around I have a little black zipper case I put my vaping supplies in. A few batteries, juice and some full carto tanks. For some reason I'm always getting a little juice on these things. Not much but enough to annoy me. I even put the plugs back in the top of the carto but it still happens. I think if I could buy a cap similar to a valve stem cap it would solve my problem. Just a little silver cap with an o ring to screw on to the bottom of my carto.

Million $ idea, put the patent on in before the"other" country reads this.LOL

I would make sure you remove any tip you had on it and wipe the area before you store it, it's our mouths that harbor the bacteria that could "infect" it for lack of better verbage.
