Can e-liquid be diluted

Thank you all for your help ..i will try the glycerine thined out with distiled water.....BTW it is great to have you all to help us out before our first purchase ....thanks to your input my first is a pen style and i am waiting on the dse901...

Soooo .....i received my VG 2 weeks ago....i thined out my e liquid (18 mg)...added a little Lorann's flavor...AND I GOT ...6mg nicotine ,inproved taste ,plenty of vapor, BUT, i have lost the throat hit......
the mix i use is ...
10 drops e liquid 18mg
17 drops VG
3 drops distilled water
3 drops Loranns flavor( PRALINES + CREAM)
can anyone explain why?

It could be that you're not getting the additives in the commercial eliquid such as pepper in the same strength. Glycerine smooths flavours, you might want to see if propylene glycol works better for you.

If it's spikyness you are missing it could mean that you are vaping below your nicotine tolerance level. You could try a couple of drops of higher nic occasionally for a spike and fix.
