Oops, missed the 2nd page of replies :D

You will soon get used to the size of it - honest :D And there are quite a lot of other e-cig users in your neck of the woods. In fact, Ellen who is a member here & in AAE-C UK is arranging a mini meet up in the Manchester area -

I wouldn't be overly concerned with the stares. I get a few weird look while in public, but I'm not bothered by it.. My only concern is staying off the stinkies, and never going back.

I hope the chap at the store told you some juices need to be steeped. I prefer "aging", but I guess I have to go with the vaping slang, LOL! Some juices I've tried such as Highbrow Tabac de Perique tasted like soap fresh from the bottle. This juice took almost a month to steep, now it's much better with a good flavor.

I'd say you made a good first choice for your set up.

Well, I bit the bullet, drove over and bought this: Vape Escape Vision 1000 Ultimate £59.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - VE Vision 1000 Ultimate Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

He threw in some liquid for me, went through the filling process and gave me the prices of replacement atomisers etc. Very personable and friendly chap, and I have to say, it's much much better than the VIP e-cig. Smoother taste all round, and plenty of battery to get me through a day.

The only thing now is that I feel like I'm smoking an opium pipe or something, lol. I'll probably get some funny looks in the local, too, but c'est la vie :)

I'm fairly new to this to but I have notice one thing the flavour seems to be better from a cart than a clearomiser
May e just me or the kit I'm using but using the same liquid in both I've found it tastes better from a cart.

I use jacvapour v3 carts kd808 and a vgo2 mini it's like an ego but with a kd808 thread instead of a 510.

Wowser you got a very nice Kit. The Clearomizers are rebuildable. Here's the spare heads:
Vision Ego Rainbow V3 Spare Heads (Long Wick) £2.50 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
Clearomizer (includes the Stardust and the Vivi Nova)- a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable clearos come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. My Vivi Nova heads are lasting about 4 weeks BUT I wash the heads every few days.
Give me a few minutes and I'll find a vid for cleaning and dry burning.
Credit to Chrissie as she was the one who opened my eyes to Vape Escape and since recommending him I've heard nothing but good things about Jason and VE.
As for people looking at you it's mostly curiosity and eventually you'll get used to it. Well worth it considering the extra power you now have.
Again congrats and Happy Vaping.

Edit: Although this vid is for the Vivi Nova it's the same idea- when you clean the Clearo be very careful to not lose the small metal piece in the top silicon cap near the mouthpiece- can easily go down a drain.

Double Edit: Although I've been surfing the net for 15+ yrs I'm still so amazed everyday at how easily we can all communicate no matter where we live.

Yes considering the cost it works out quite cheaply...couldn't be anymore expensive than smokes...good luck with the job. A couple of last points- drink lottsa water and only finger tighten anything on to the battery, clean battery connections before charging. Sorry kinda busy.

Very handy video, and having dismantled one of these whilst watching it looks like I should be able to rebuild it the same way. Having said that, the atomisers are only a couple of £ anyway.
