Yaa but the airport is controlled by the federal government...don't blame their rules & problems on Vegas!

If the issue was with short staffing blame the company that handles the ramp duties. Some places that is done by the airline and some places it is done by a 3rd party and some places (I.E. Orlando International) it is a combination depending what airline you are traveling. The government is not to blame for everything, just almost everything.

Yeah that airport ...... me off..spent 30 extra mins on the plane because they said they was short on help on the runway and then it took them 45 more mins to get our bags..Not a good first impression at that airport at all.

Don't blame the airport. That's the airlines fault.

Just make sure the liquid is in a 3 ounce bottle.
Seriously, I had no trouble with carry mine around at the airport and since they limit the size of bottles, people are carry all sorts of unlabled liquid around.
And, by the way, you can use it in the bathroom. Just as a precaution I exhaled into my shirt but I really don't think it would set the fire alarm off.
