Can i build a diy mod using old aspire plato parts.. ?

i have a beaten up old aspire plato,and wanted to use the board and buttons to build a new regulated mod using a 510 connector ...is this feasible or can anyone see any problems i might have ? also any good websites for diy mod (regulated) instructions /parts ?

I don't see why not.
I have no experience with a Plato, but if you can get the board out intact, there should be no problem installing it into a new box.
