Hello,
I'm stuck using an MVP 3, so I can only go up to 30w and fire down to to 0.4 ohms...
Is there any type of clapton build that could work within those limitations?

I currently run an 0.4 ohm, 24awg, slightly spaced, 9 wraps around a 2.5mm rod, dual coil build.
It vapes surprisingly adaquet in my Sapor rda, but I'd like to get a little denser vapor production, then what I'm able to achieve currently.

Is it possible? Or have I reached the potential of what this mod can offer?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Of course; just use 28 gauge instead of 24 gauge.

I sub build but lately I've been playing around with 32gauge and you would be surprised at the clouds it can give.

For people who like doing lots of coils it makes sense to use thinner wire;
twist multiple wires together to simulate thicker wire.

For people who just want to wrap a coil and vape away, and just dryburn/rewick for months without redoing a new coil, it makes sense to use thicker wire because it will last longer.

I use a nebox and I build fused claptons on the RBA. 2x26g Kanthal wrapped with 38gN80, 6 wraps on a 2.5mm screwdriver and it comes out to 0.41 ohms. I run that at 30w, comes out to 3.5V. Very satisfying vape at 50/50 vg/pg and 4mg nic. I don't see any reason you wouldn't be able to run a standard clapton at 30w

I was thinking a 28 gauge core wraped in 36 gauge..? I'd still like to pull off a dual coils. I would think a 26 gauge core would be easier to work with, but IDK if that would work.

That sounds like it would be perfect for 25-30 watts. Definitely don't go higher than 26 if you're doing duals. I'm curious to see how you make out!

i have an Aromamizer that ran with dual 26/32 clappys and it vapes fine at 30 watts

the first couple of pulls are average but claptons hold their heat so once you get them running they vape very well and lots of vapor and flavor

    run @ 30 watts

if you intend to run that 30 watt mod at full chat keep an eye on the temp of the mod as it may get warm and if it starts to get warm let it cool down between vapes .

i have the mvp 3 pro 60 watt which i used to run a couple of my drippers at full chat 60 watts and it did start to get warm after a while but as long as you let it cool down between vapes mine was ok .

    just try to be safe

and remember when things got to hot they dont end well

get a better mod with more power as soon as you can as its not good to run any mod at its max for any extended length of time.
