Can I do this??

Feeling stupid today, got to looking over an order from Steam Co. and noticed I ordered one 30ml bottle of Old Orchard Reserve at ZERO nice....rather than 12. So I have been reading and reading, and slowly ordering my DIY supplies. Got my 100mg/ml nic, pg, vg, bottles, etc.... I have downloaded the e-juice me up calc. so feel I'm ready to start "slowly" trying to make my own juice.

Question to the "pro's".....can I figure out and using a syringe, draw a tiny bit of the nic and put it into the Old Orchard and bring it up to 12mg nic.??? (I mean, I'm sure I probably can, but without any percentages, how would you guys figure out the amount to add to the premixed juice.) I'm thinking this is probably an easy fix for you guys, so I defer to your wisdom. The nic is pg based and the juice is 50/50...Im not worried about throwing off the 50/50 for the miniscule amt. of nic. I'll probably need, right??? Thanks so much for your help "before" I dip my toes in the pool of DIY. (you know, you can read sooooooooooo much it makes your head spin, but I know we have to do it to be safe)

4.08ml's of 100mg NIC will make your 30ml bottle of juice 12mg. You will take a slight hit on flavor but it should be OK.

your figuring on 30mls and not the final 34mls so your slightly off there but close.

Remember that it is mg/ml...

If you add 3.6ml of 100mg/ml you have added 360mg of nicotine. 360mg / (30ml + 3.6ml) = 10.7mg/ml

If you add 4ml of 100mg/ml you have added 400mg of nicotine. 400mg / (30ml + 4ml) = 11.7mg/ml

If you add 4.1ml of 100mg/ml you have added 410mg of nicotine. 410mg / (30ml + 4.1ml) = 12.0mg/ml

How close you want to get depends on how much you want to dilute the flavor.

Just add xtra mls might over flow the bottle. He might need to pull out 3.6ml.
Also you need air left in the bottle to mix it up good by shaking it.

thank you guys so much. I'm not worried if I end up with 11 nic or 13, so a tenth of a ml. off wont "kill" me, I think I will do as spanked said and draw some off from the bottle first to make room. Then I plan to put the mix thru an ultrasonic bath "shake" to mix it up. I got the ultrasonic cleanser to help clean heads, etc...but was happy to discover could also use it to help steep the liquids too....
