Can I freeze WTA?

Hey!

I saw that this had been asked last Tuesday, and thought that I would jump in to try and help, even though I am unsure of what WTA concentrate is.

If WTA is a flavor or flavor enhancer, I do not believe that most of them are kept in a freezer as it kills the flavor. Just store it in a cool dry location, out of the sunlight. A pantry is perfect.

Hopefully now that I've pinged this, it will gather some steam! :)

what kind of time span are you planning on in trying to keep it... months, years?
if its a few months no freezing required... a couple of years, then freezing should help in reducing the oxidation factor... but freeze the WTA in small bottles and remove what you need when needed. Several sessions of freezing and thawing a single bottle ( large quantity) escalates the oxidation process.

Thanks for replying! I am looking at freezing it for more than a year, and breaking it down into smaller bottles makes sense.

I just wasn't sure if freezing would be different for WTA than for just nicotine, because of the alkaloids.

Just in case anyone else was wondering, I got a reply back from the manufacturer:

I've had customers freeze, but I'm pretty certain simple refrigeration is the safest bet. It keeps really well. Had a customer report year old stuff, not even refrigerated to be just fine. I'm not sure how freezing might, or might not affect the alkaloids. I wouldn't freeze, but I do remember someone on the forum mentioning that they did.

So I guess I'll refrigerate rather than freeze.
