Kamry k100 on the way. Just watched a video on the pulse method. Anyone use this method with this mech??

The guy in the video said v that mods with a "hot spring" would be dangerous to pulse with. .. What's a "hot spring"?
"decent mech" + decent batteries.
When you first start to pulse your coil and if all your coils are not instantaneously lighting up evenly your resistance is much much lower than when your done pulsing out all your hot spots aka shorts.
It is definitely a use at your own risk method.
However, if you pulse your coils with a battery that is not fully charged (3.5 - 3.6v) and use short pulses (like half a second) to start with you should be fine. I still recommend using AW's and some of the high drain 18650. With all mechs it's important to understand the c rating or max current discharge rating of you batteries.

Yes, thank you. Been doing LOTS of homework. I have an AW 18650 but I think the safety fuse won't fit with it. .. ordered an 18500 from RTD specifically to go on the k100 (along with my lil platoon of 18350's) but I'll be pulsing with the bigger ones (drained to 3.4-3.6)
