I was wondering if I could put an ego style tank on a Subvod battery. I don't do subohm vaping as I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I prefer mouth to lung vapes so I stick with my ego style tank. Thanks for any help.
The eGo style tanks will fit on just about any mod with a "510 to eGo adapter" usually $3 at a vape store. BUT... you must make certain the mod will fire down (6 watts) low enough to not burn up the coils in the tank.
I'd suggest looking at the Aspire Nautilus Mini as a great mouth to lung tank and it already has a 510 connection so no adapter will be needed.

I don't like aspire products as I had a run in with one of their old ego style clearomizers. It leaked, and gurgled and wasn't good. So that made me afraid to try anything aspire. Does the aspire nautilus not gurgle or leak? I have been contemplating on whether or not to get one. I hear that they are great tanks. Is the flavor and vapor good? I like my volcano bctube tank because I think it has great flavor and vapor production. I'm a little scared to try anything else. I guess I could always try it and find out.
I should mention that I do not subohm. I like 1.8 ohm and 3.0 ohm. I mostly like my 3.0 ohms.

I had 5 of the Nautilus before I went sub ohm. It was and still is one of my most trusted tanks not to leak. It will gurgle on occasion but definitely not like the cheaper ego style Aspire products. Usually the gurgle is from taking a hard hit and the coil rewicks too fast drawing in too much juice. (like about any tank) To fix this all you do is take a hit with the tank upside down where the coil can't re supply the juice and it burns off the excess juice in the coil. The Nautilus will come with a 1.6 and 1.8 ohm coil. I never really noticed much of a difference between the two.
You could also look at the Eleaf GS air tanks, they get lots of love in the forum.

I may consider the nautilus tank. I have a gs air 2 tank. I like how the tank performs. I get no leaking and no gurgling from eleaf tanks. The only con I have is I don't think the flavor on any eleaf coil is good. The flavor isn't as strong. I vape pre steeped juices only. I don't like waiting for juice to steep. I know the old aspire tank I had, had great flavor and vapor production. So maybe the nautilus will be the same. Thank you for the tip on the gurgling issue. I don't like to vape subohm I like my 18mg juice. I'm a picky vapor I know.
It will work just fine but, as has been said, you might need an adapter. I can't find a picture of the top of it to see if it's 510 only, or 510/eGo threaded.

Consider yourself a lucky vaper. There are times I wish I could go back to low ohm vape as it's much less expensive. I don't know if you build your own coils but I saw somewhere yesterday an rba kit for the Nautilus.
Another tip for the Nautilus. Keep a rubber band handy (remember I said I trusted this tank not to leak). Sometimes the tank draws so much vacuum it can be a mite tight to open. The rubber band works just like a kitchen jar grabber with the Nautilus, makes it easy. If you get one and have any issues you can always message me or post in the threads, there are a large number of people who have the experience with the Nautilus.
At 18 mg I would suggest getting spare 1.8 ohm coils.
I am waiting for some GS tanks to see if I can get off the mini Nautilus. Nothing wrong with them (mini Nautilus), but I want to buy 100 coils for the zombie apocalypse. I can get the Eleaf ones easier.

You can put an EGO style atty on ANY mod that fires low enough for the atty. Does it have an upper and lower ohm limit? If you can fire at 10 wats or less than I say try it. It will either work or it wont. You wont harm anything, except maybe a coil.
