Hello everyone. New to forum and too vaping. I started vaping last weekend, those *&$@ those damn analogs. Last month lost a friend to lung cancer, last week my boss was hospitalized for COPD (now has to carry around O2 just to breathe). Needless to say this is not the fate I want. So I'm trying something different. I sure, you all could attest to, vaping could be a little overwhelming at first. So to keep it simple I went with Kangertech's Subvod. I like it, it's not complicated, add juice, push a button and vape.Easy. Anyways I wanted to try a different flavor so I went off an bought a separate tank, the TopTank Mini. Upon attaching the new tank to my old Subvod battery(mod?) I'll getting a low battery signal. If I unscrew the tank and reseat it, it will work for a couple of times at the most and then I have to unscrew it again and so on and so on.... Well this gets old and it's not really what I had in mind when I bought this new gear. Obviously it's a connection problem. So my question is anyone experienced these types of problems before and how to you fix it?
Sorry for the long winded post.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

From what I read, the Kanger Toptank Mini comes with a 0.15ohm Ni200 SSOCC atomizer head for temperature control devices pre-installed. Take out the coil and read the writing on the coil housing. What does it say?

If you are using a Ni200 coil, you will not able to use it as your Kanger Subvod is not a temperature control mod.

Damn your good. The Ni coil is in there. I'll swap out the coils and see if that helps.
That should solve your problems.

Here's the deal with the new SSOCC heads:
  • Pink O-Ring -- Stainless Steel wire. Power or SS TC mode, your choice.
  • Blue O-Ring -- Nickel wire. Ni TC mode ONLY.
  • Black O-Ring -- "Clapton" coil. Probably Kanthal, Power Mode ONLY.
  • Red O-Ring -- NiChrome wire. Power Mode only. Made to use with the NiCh TC mode on the brand new Kanger TC mods. Doesn't actually TC according to reports. More work needed, we'll see. No other mods can TC it (TCR 0011ish... doesn't work).
