Hi,

I stopped using my DSE901 almost a year ago and I wanted to go back to e-cig.

I wanted to know if there was a better type of atomizers I could use nowadays that would fit to my DSE-901 baterries and USB-pass-through (or adapters that would make it work).

I remember using the DSE-901 and was fairly happy with it but wondering if better stuff came out since then, and if so what would you recommend.

Thank you.

I started out with the 901 a year ago. Didn't get enough vapor from it to give up cigarettes completely. I came down with a bad throat infection and my doctor put me on meds and told me if I smoked I'd probably be sick forever... I live in Korea and these e-cig stores are popping up everywhere... mostly selling rebranded e-cigs. I picked up what I am sure are just re-branded Go-gos. The atomizer from the 901 does fit on the Go-go battery and the push button and extra battery life are nice, too. The charger is a different matter. The Go-go charger is 300mA and the 901 is only 100mA so at least you could trickle-charge your new Go-go battery with your old 901 charger but it would be slow... wouldn't recommend sticking the 901 in the Go-go charger.

All that said, you should definately mod your 901 filters first. Search the forums... the PTB mod is easiest but the aquarium sponge mod may be the best one... After sitting on the shelf for too long, my 901s are enjoying new life as evening vapes.

By the way, the Go-gos are monsters with big capacity and big batteries... and probably also require modding. But they worked for 3 months without a hitch... I pulled a 3 901 filters apart and re-stuffed my Go-gos (after a good shake in ethenol and drying out)... lower capacity but it works.

Now, I'm getting into the eGo-T (no, not related to the Go-go) which seem awesome...

The Go-go is incompatible with anything else last I heard.

901 atomizers are still the same. There should be 901 passthroughs around - you need to use PTs on a 2amp AC to USB to be safe. DO not run one off a PC's USB - you could damage your PC.

If you want to look at different stuff, 510 threading is much more popular than 901. Joye 510, Joye 510 xl, Joye Ego, Riva 510 and Boge cartomizers are a popular way to vape those (standard resistance on the slim models, standard or LR on the fat models).

Check Liberty-Flight.com (press the 20% off on front page first), Cignot.com, LiteCigUSA.net

you can now but cartomizers for your 901 instead of atomizers. They have different styles some are clear some are metal some have filler in them some do not. I use the kind with filler. I buy them at valuevapor.com they hold alot more juice than an regular little cartridge does. They are made just like an atty with the hole in the side and taste about the same but do not leak juice out the side.

I don't have Go-Gos? Sorry if I gave bad advice. To be honest, I've tried hard to judge exactly what my "We-Top" e-cigs really are... I thought they might be eGos, but after receiving eGo-Ts, I realized the threading was completely incompatible. Hm. Well, then perhaps the dual threading on the battery was just so they could use standard 901-style chargers but still attempt to lock me in ($130ish for a 2-set starter ugh).

Anyway, I stick to my advice about modding the 901s. But the batteries are too weak to be of much use to mix and match much anyway... Good luck.

Either I'm triple-posting or I'm keeping a dead thread alive. Nope, I definitely have re-branded Go-go's and the batteries of the Go-go's use 901-style threads for the re-charging... and I have used them on my 901 atomizers... Actually a few days ago I tried this combination in conjunction with the ZFM (see previous post) and various juices... I assume there is a higher voltage (901 battery is so weak)... so I wanted to cook certain juices better. Most tasted worse. The 901s with ZFM seem fit for a puff while washing dishes, using a light fruity juice.
