thanks for the reply and i dont reely have enough money for an ego yet hopefully in the future i will get one but for now it has got to be one of the slightly cheaper ones and the ones that have caught my eye are the dse 901 and the volt e cig, also many people seem to be complaining about the dse 901 atty and battery life but i havent heard much about the volt, so could u please tell me if the volt has a better battery life and is a catomiser better or an atomiser thanks for your help :)

A dse 901 and a volt are very similar, the 901 is a 3-piece using an atomizer and the volt a 2-piece using a cartomizer. Starting out the volt and carto setup is a bit easier to deal with, simple to fill, and vape well.

Atomizers (attys) are very good, but have to have just the right amount of juice, not flooded or dry, to work well. The learning curve is a bit steeper...:)...but worth it. Nice thing if you go with a volt, it's a 808/901 threading so if you want to try an atty it will fit and work no problem.

p.s. Welcome to ECF!!

Hi waqar - I've just had a look around and the dse 901 seems to be 280 mah. A 78mm Volt is 320 mah - so will last longer. Mine last about 2 hours continuous vaping. If you do get a volt use the coupon code 10VOLTECF over at Smokeless Image and get 10% off. You would need to get two batteries - so you have a back up while the other one is charging.

The volt is the most recommended mini on here, the 78mm battery will last 3-4 hours of moderate chain vaping. The customer service is second to none. The cartos last a long time, can be refilled several times and don't burn as easy. They are also reasonably priced and there is a 15% off coupon. In addition, once you get you kit, you can post a picture of yourself with your volt in their subforum and they will give you a free battery, bottle of juice or pack of cartos. They also have the X2 battery which is an ego style with 808 threads. That means when you are ready for a bigger battery, you can get an x2 and use all your cartos and clearos from the small batteries as well as ego threaded juice delivery systems like the Kanger T2. Here is a video about the volt. It demonstrates the product, teaches you what you need to be successful regardless of what you buy and also shows the x2.

FYI: The 901 atty is compatible with manual and with the original auto 808 batteries. However, the 901 atty is NOT compatible with the sealed auto 808 battery. It will screw on but will not fire.

i bought a couple ego tank batteries at first. cartos and a charger, some samples and i was on my way. i looked into many different brands but noticed that many manufactures use the Joye 510 thread. in the first couple weeks i have looked into a Jazz Pipe and have ordered a couple DCTs. I made sure to buy the largest battery i could, at the best price i could find from a reputable vendor. 1000mAh ego's seemed to be the sweet-spot for me.

good luck
