Can i trust alibaba sellers?

Hi everyone, so I just visited Alibaba website and looked up for the subox mini kit and the evic kit. all the sellers told me they were 100% authentic for like 40$ can I trust them? I want to upgrade from evod.

Alibaba is geared more toward business owners. The items are authentic yes, but to get the best price, you have to meet an MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). Thus they are mostly a wholesaler and you will need a business Tax ID or such. Wanting a good price, dealing with a China Distributor directly, your best bets will be fasttech, Focalcig, Angelcigs, and Gearbest

It's a tough gamble. I have not dealt with alibaba in almost 3 years, and then when I contacted some of the sellers there, they always quoted a minimum shipping MOQ or 20 to 30 units when I only needed 1 as well as a business Tax ID I do not have. Personally, and just my opinion, I'd go Fasttech first, found the Evic VT at 55USD just the mod, and about 65USD the full kit which is about the same price at Angelcig and FocalEcig, Gearbest was at about the price of a retailer here in the US.

I totally agree. Some of the sellers have no reputation to protect.

All I know is that all of the so-called "authentic" AW batteries sold at Alibaba are actually counterfeit. Many of the US distributors selling batteries on Ebay and Amazon get their batteries from Alibaba.

Lomka unless you talk directly to the original manufacturers or designers of the hardware you are interested, I would say trust nothing everyone else is telling you. Besides that on alibaba you have to pay for shipping, I don't know if you added that to your cost. I would advice also to take your money to fasttech for example. They have a forum there and at least you can read feedback from actual customers of the product

Considering how many Alibaba sellers have stolen Etsy artists' designs - right down to stealing their photographs, I wouldn't trust them.

There are certain things I get from aliexpress (alibaba geared for consumers). I wouldn't buy a mod from there though.

I'd only buy unbranded things from aliexpress, and even then it would be an apprehensive purchase- from what I've seen a lot of what's on there isn't all that good qualitatively

That is the qty until you order. Then they will likely tell you sorry, you need to order 10.

They typically list a low qty to get you to respond.

I live in China and use them a lot for many things. If you tell them you want to get a "sample" you may have better luck. Just remember, in China, do not expect to return it even if it does not work.

Caveat Emptor. If you want the best price you can get (and don't mind slow-boat-from-China shipping) it's hard to beat Fasttech.

You might want to try with AliExpress, I've ordered a bunch of stuff and they all have arrived, plus most of the items have free shipping. Like in any other online shop, look for the sellers ratings and reviews before you buy.

I have experience order from Alibaba. There is usually 2 type of companies in Alibaba. One is trading company and ones is manufacturer. If u order from the manufacturer, I believe it all original (the original manufacturer of Subox is Kangertech).

If you order from a trading company, they usually sell original and fake one also. In my experience dealing with them, they always keep it transparent about fake and original in Alibaba.

But in Alibaba usually they only take bulk order. Manufacturer normally take order in large quantity and trading company in 10 pcs minimum. If you want to order for 1 pcs only, I suggest you try to find it in Aliexprees
