can I upgrade my DNA 20 to 30 myself

Hi friends, is it possible to upgrade my Hanna mods clone dna 20 to 30 myself by purchasing the chipset? Or will I just be in for a mess if I try? All opinions welcome. I couldn't afford a 30 so I bought a 20. It's brand new. Not been used. But since they are selling the "chip" or board can I trade it out myself? If yes where is the best place to purchase the 30 "chip"? Thanks
