Can I use a Radio Shack recharger?

It looks like Janty is out of about everything. I need a recharger for the Janty Stick's batteries, preferably that recharges two batteries at once. Does anyone know if Radio Shack would have a re-charger that would work with the Janty Stick batteries, which look like AAA batteries?

Also, could I use Radio Shack's AAA rechargeable batteries for the Janty Stick?

doots, thanks for that! The batteries themselves say 500 mAh instead of 360 mAh that I got from Janty. Does that matter?

no. it doesnt matter. They will supply a charge just a little bit longer.

The batts. I have with my JS have only lasted a month. Consistently weaker as time goes by. I charged them a full 12 hours like the beginners video showed, and I wait untill they are dead to change and recharge. The manual states recharge for 1 1/2 hrs. The video says 4 hrs. What am I doing wrong?

What is the rule of thumb for rechargable batteries? First charge and recharges?

I always have just charged them til green light comes on. These 10440's are cheap china made batts. Ive had some last for a few months before a detection of not charging well and others go sooner. just have a lot of extras is your best bet. They are very cheap.
