Can I use hana modz as ohm meter?

I'm new, do I need to buy an ohm meter or I can test out the ohm through mods like hana modz and provari

Depends - If you are building your own coils, you should definitely get an ohm meter. When something only has one job it tends to be a lot more reliable. If you are buying stock coils and not using a mech you should be fine without one.

Buy a digital multimeter (any hardware store around $20)

Yeah, to start off with, will be more than okay, since the dna goes off what it reads the ohms as and not the exact precise measurement. As long as it's between 0.5-3 ohms, your good to go. You'll eventually want to pick up a dedicate atomizer ohm meter. Makes it easier and much more precise. But with a regulated mod, onboard ohm meter will suffice. Basically how all builders started, except mech user, first time builders, then ya, required tool.

I use a Vamo as my ohm reader. Its pretty accurate (compared to a meter tested at b&m store)

I use my maxa as on ohm meter from time to time, but it will only read to the tenths place and I like to know what is in the hundredths place also.

Vamo V5 is right even better than SVD's on a dummy coil and USA ohm meter 1.40, 1.40 Vamo V5 and SVD'S read 1.40 DNA 30 reads it high 1.50 ohms known to be high.
Come to sub ohm USA OHM METER CORRECT. SVD"s off by 1 point high. Vamo V5 right on. SVD runs @ .07 and 1.2 ohm limit on Vamo V5. but reads it to sub ohms.
