Can i use isub coils at 70w?

Yeah, sorry on the 0.5s, but you can't get nearly that high on them. They won't wick fast enough.
Nor were they designed to.

I have a soft spot for the iSubs so I've put way more time into this than their modest to moderate performance warrants. Haven't tried the Claptons yet though.

There's a trick with horizontal coil heads where you gently work a thumb tack (or similar) from one side then the other (and repeat) so you create a loosened tunnel through the center of the coil.
On a DRY, UNUSED coil head.
It will actually allow an extra 5-10w headroom when you use it.
Not so you can hotrod it, just so you can go a little warmer with better juice flow.

That said (Warning... Idiot Alert)... I've easily had the 0.5s at 35-40w and they run well at 30-32w, when the honest normal usage is about 25w.

The 0.2s... I stopped at 50w when the drip tip was getting a tad hot. :p

70w ain't gonna happen. ;)
