Can I use this for coil wire*

That is a non-resistant wire, if you made a coil with it you would have a dead short situation and risk damageing or destroying your device or battery and personal injury!! Also it could lead to a venting battery or a battery on fire.
You should only use Kanthal or Nichrome for coils.

Richard is correct and I wouldn't use that wire for joining non-resistant to resistant either. I doubt that it is .999% pure and the gauge is way too thick to join with say 32 ga Kanthal.
