Can I use this rum flavor (and a few others) I found in my kitchen?

I bought this Durkee rum extract (PG, water, alcohol 2.5%, nat & art. flavors, caramel color) to make rum raisin cheesecake (hmm, that sounds like it could be a good vape!) when I couldn't get to a liquor store for real rum. Is there any reason not to try it to flavor juice, and what % would be a good starting point? I'm waiting on an order from Wizard Labs, but I'm itching to mix now.

I also found Lorann's peppermint and spearmint oils, and anise oil (can't remember the brand) in my cupboard. And somewhere in my kitchen is almond, but I can't remember if it's oil or just flavoring. I'm not a menthol fan, so ignoring the mints won't be too much of a problem, but I love anise flavor. If I choose to play with the anise, what % of oil would be semi-acceptable?

Most of the mints are oils unless they say they are artificial flavors. Peppermint and spearmint should be fine. Anise is a maybe but I would expect it to make a very cloudy mix. One "worry" is that non concentrated flavors will dilute your liquid to much. It really depends on how strong those mints are though. If your not going to need more than you would for an average concentrate then they should be alright.
